Tell Me About The Alamodome On Foot

going to the Canelo-Trout fight. Was going to get a room but most of the nice places for reasonable rates are booked up. Also trying to save some money to go to other events in a short span so Ill probably just bus down, hangout, and bus back. What is there to do and where is there to go on foot? What is the daylife and nightlife like? All I pretty much know about is the Riverwalk which is probably still good enough for me. How is the Riverwalk at night though? Can you hangout around there after the fight? Are there places still open? Also, would you recommend me arrive early Saturday to do things on the Riverwalk and bus back soon after the fight or is it better to get there around 6pm on Saturday, hangout a lil, go to the fight, and then hangout all night and then go home? Crazy questions I know but Im trying to put all this together before I finalize my plan. One spot I was thinking of going after the fight is Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery. Do you recommend that and are there others near there?

Yes indeed DLT mah homie. I used to live in the DMV(DC, Maryland, Virgina area) :lol1: Neverthatman. Most jokers dont be knowin, cause all eveybody talk bout in the N.O., and they only talk bout the big parades, like Bacchus, or Rex. But not the bout it ass parades like Zulu or Endymion. Hell they got parades in BR(Jupiter, Artemis, and Mutts), Donaldsonville(Shaka and Sisters), Lafayette, Breaux Bridge, Tha Charles, Sh1t Vers mah homie, I aint know Fiesta was super major till recently. And you taught me its like a Mardi Gras :lol: yeah, I thought I remembered rapping I to you before about that because Im from the DMV. How long you been in SA? Ive been to Dallas a few times but thats pretty much the only place Ive been to in Texas so Im kinda looking forward to passing through Austin and seeing what SA is about. Next time Ill drive and check it out more, along with Houston

well I was suppose to take the megabus down from OKC but they canceled all the OKC routes and I didnt know until the last second. That screwed everything up so now Ill be taking the greyhound A few of us were planning on driving down there but with the gas prices right now we're also considering just taking Greyhound. lol Looking for a cheap hotel at the moment....the Super 8 on the Pan Am Expressway doesn't sound too promising based on the Google reviews. Stained towels and c*ckroaches and thieving maids, apparently. :lol1:

I realized that after I posted. I think with all the back n forth shyt talking that goes on on this forum, dudes should be more willing to host fellow fight fans when they come to your city. This would b the a perfect chance here. Show this guy around the city for the nite. Far fetched but, doable.

I'll be there at the fight like mah homie Vers said my man so you definatly wont be by yourself there. I'll have Mrs. Chief with me too, but we may indeed hang out after the fight is over. There is a night life in the countdown fa sho. Oh yea. Mardi Gras is longer than a week, more like a month long. There are parades throughout the state. But I heard Fiesta be havin it goin down, so its all gravy, sure to be hella fun. :fing02: My boy dun owned me by accident. Haha

thats wasup. I might take you up on that. At the same time, I dont think its a bad spot to be on foot. Sometimes you may be on foot in the middle of nowhere and the other times you may be on foot where things are happening and it seems like it'll be ok. Im going to New York Saturday by bus. They drop me off by the Garden and Ill have to walk like a mile to the arena but so many things are going on and so many people are outside that Id rather be on foot anyways. I might meet someone to eat though so its all good Hit me on PM

yeah, Im getting off at the greyhound so I will just stay on foot in the area around the Riverwalk-Alamodome. I was thinking about coming Friday but couldnt really find the right room on either Friday or Saturday so Ill probably just come down early Saturday and leave sometime in the am on Sunday. Ill be with someone though so its all good If you tell me where you're at when you get down here, you won't be on foot. I won't do that to you.

Since you didn't answer. Haha. I'll go ahead and say stay downtown. One of the other posters mentioned it and I almost forgot. It's stuff happening literally the whole day everyday for 10 days. well, Ive mostly outgrown the club thing anyways so Im moreso just looking for a bar or a place where alot of people will be gathering and having fun Fair enough. Plus he's on foot. So the NW side wouldbb out the question.

If you go to the NW side of town, there are many wonderful upscale clubs to party at. San Antonio is a nice town to party. Don't steer him wrong while casting shade on a beautiful city. I turned you from red, to green at 14 for that comment. You gotta know or live here for awhile to know where to go.
