In my opinion, you're not going to get better odds in a big fight than this(+180) for a fighter who should be, at the least, even money against Alvarez. No one on Canelo's resume comes close to the big name on Trout's resume (Miguel Cotto). And the way he outboxed Cotto, who is alot like Canelo in many ways, is what sells me on the fact that he should win this fight 8-4, 9-3 in rds. If you have a brain, bet Austin Trout to win.
Any one else wanna share their unbiased opinion? I'm not a fan of either, but I like both. I just think the edge has to go to Austin.
Canelo wanted Floyd. Floyd said no.

Well to their defense, even I would fight Floyd with 3 hours of training and not care about the outcome since I will be a lot more richer after the fight.
There's a big difference in fighting Floyd for 15+ million dollars and fighting Trout for a fraction of that.
do you really think Canelos management will throw him against someone who they believe will be a problem?
Canelo by KO\TKO

Boxing is a business, Trout has no marketability and was picked exclusively because through research of Canelos management he has been selected as a beatable opponent.
You guys thinking Trout will win are going to lose your money, do you really think Canelos management will throw him against someone who they believe will be a problem?
Canelo by KO\TKO
Austin has close to zero chance of winning this fight in my opinion. He just not big enough, strong enough or slick enough.
He struggled with a Cotto who is a shell of himself. I am actually worried what Canelo will do to him.
he struggled vs cotto? what fight were you watching?
Man those odds are bananas.
I am leaning to Canelo in this fight, but for ****s sake, Delvin Rodriguez is better than anyone on Canelo's resume and Trout made him look like he'd never boxed before. People putting all this big money on Canelo to cause the odds to sway like that are crazy: this fight is as 50-50 as it gets.

I think Canelo will be too busy and fast for trout , trout is a fine fighter but don't think he's busy enough or has a good enough defense to beat Canelo, plus allot of times trout just does arm punches to score, that won't Intimidate Canelo.
Canelo + fast = lol
Trout lives in his mind in fantasy land, Canelo is in reality.
Trout out of there in 7 rounds.
Funny thing is you ain't even lying. Trout believes hard work pays off. But we know that it really depends on the power of the people backing you.
Trout moonwalks in outer-space while canelo plods through cement. I cannot wait. This fight is one of thee most important of the year and I'm rolin with da underdog. May the best man win.

Basing predictions on who's won against the more popular/better fighter is a recipe for failure. Who did Mayweather win against before Genaro Hernandez? Who did Pacquiao win against Sasakul or MA Barrera? Bradley before Witter? Ward before Kessler? Donaire before Darchinyan? And we can go on, mentioning every fighter, past, present, and future.
Canelo is a top fighter that hasn't faced the requisite opposition to be considered one. Trout is a solid boxer, but I project Alvarez to be a higher caliber fighter that also should be able to handle Austin's style.
Betting on Trout (particularly on a prop bet to win by decision) isn't a dumb bet; I would ponder on hedging my bet with it. I think though that Canelo is going to win decisively.
A. Style wise, Canelo is closer to Cotto in style than pretty much anyone else in the top 10 at 154.
I dont know about that. Cotto was too small for 154, and it showed against trout. But he still did pretty well against him before he gassed around the 8th rounds. Canelo is bigger, stronger and faster, a full blown SWW
B. Rigondeaux has never, ever beaten a Cotto equivalent as a pro, so I don't know how you're gonna compare him to Trout as an underdog. Donaire has an insanely superior pro resume compared to Rigo. You can't say the same about Canelo and Trout.
The point im making is that while rigo hasnt beaten anyone, he is still only a 2-1 underdog due to his potential and style
