He has a super belt right now and I think the WBA are holding out on him defending it later. I don't think they care that much. Bradley dropped that WBO belt and went to fight Pac..It was a vacant belt,no harm in Marquez going for it..There are no vacant belts at 147lb tho,they are all occupied.. He didn't go for it, he went for the vacant interim belt, and eventually got promoted. That's one route, another is promoting another champ to super and having the regular title open up.

If its not Pac/JMM 5 you gotta think they go for light hitting bradley after that big KO loss. Provodnikov vs. Rios and Alvarado vs. Marquez. Not too many options out there for Bob.

That's true, but I don't see him cutting it out entirely... I think he's going to accommodate to the U.S Strip somebody for no reason and get sued?
