It definitly won't happen now since HBO dropped Floyd and wants nothing to do with him or GBP

Who that sexy boy in you avi is you?
yeah right. I am pretty sexy but I am not that sexy. I wish. That is former world champion and part time model Robin Reid!
The fight did not happen when it would have made the most money and the most sense so I doubt it will happen when it makes much less money and sense. Promoters are smart or they would not be self made millionairs but they have their pride too. Fighters have their pride as well and Pacquiao is never going to agree to fight Mayweather and let Mayweather make three or four times as much money as he makes. Mayweather is never going to agree to fight Pacquiao unless he gets almost all the money. Both fighters make huge money without fighting each other so this fight will never happen.

We did get the RJJ-Hopkins rematch.....right?
That is more of what it will be like. When they are shot and broke and need the money and thats the biggest money fight there for them, then it will happen. 5-10 years too late.
They'll be fighting at the York Hall in three years time in the first round of Prizefighter.
Still waiting for that third fight.
"5-95, I kick yo' ass!"

Fierce;13221038']We did get Tyson-Lewis 6 years late...right?
Yep. The hype was still strong for that fight too. I think Floyd/Pac would do historical numbers regardless of where they're a in their careers. It's not just a fight, it's an event. Everyone will be there, and everyone will be watching at home.
It strange because there still is interest even after manny's unreliable @ss found a way to get knocked out in a shockingly uncommon manner. Casuals have still asked me if this fight will happen. Those interviewers yesterday still questioned Floyd about this fight
It got tons of mainstream media coverage. Most potential match-ups get no mainstream coverage at all.
I know boxing is all politics and money making, we will see May vs Pac for their last fights.
Very possible. The fight will still resonate with the wider public two years from now, and who knows how financial circumstances will change for the concerned parties in the meantime.
