Yes. Not that I think Zab will win, but he has a better shot than most think. But with those odds, it wouldn't be a bad idea to put a few bucks on him, if you're able to.
While Garcia is a good boxer-puncher, and isn't a slow slow guy like a Margarito or something, Judah is much faster and still packs some power. I really think Judah could make this fight interesting.
Of course Zab comes up short every big fight he seems to be in so......yeah.
If you don't think Judah will win then don't bet on him. Good odds don't do you any good if the fighter you bet on loses. I think +375 is about right for Judah. He can still fight and punch and every once in a while he lives up to his potential. Judah is too undependable and weak willed for me to ever bet on him against any decent fighter and I expect Garcia to win by KO. Judah does have the speed and power to score an upset.
It wouldn't be a terrible bet. IMO he will be on top of his game fighting in front of a heavily pro Judah crowd in Brooklyn.
I still favor Garcia, but with those odds and everything else considered I think it is a decent risk to take.
If you're going to put money on Judah I would recommend just taking that money and burning it in a youtube video to show how little you care about throwing it away.
SO? All he need is that torqued left hook when he gets his timing down.. He slips punches while throwing it inside.
All he needs is one punch? What if Zab practices stopping that punch? What does Garcia have to offer him?
just making the point that zab is not reliable to go in and give his all. he has a history of folding. no reason to believe he will go balls out in this one.
He does have a history of folding up but I don't think Garcia presents the skillset to force him to doubt himself. Zab is faster, has better footwork, and straighter punches. Not too mention he is being overlooked...I think he ha quite a bit going for him in this fight.
i totally see garcia wide open swinging that left hook and leaning into a sweet left uppercut on the chin.
People forget that Zab has a very good left uppercut too.
Garcia's energy level isn't what Khan's is nor is he as imposing as Clottey is.
Also Garcia is heavily reliant on the left hook, any decent boxer can mitigate that punch if they are focused on that and the other guy doesn't have the jab or right hand to keep the other guy honest. Zab is a a lot of things but he is not a totally inept boxer, and if he can take away the left hook he has a shot.
Still tough to count on Zab holding it together for 12 full rounds, but then again all he needs to do is win 6 or 7 if he can avoid getting hurt.

i would never put money on zab. i believe he quit against clottey and khan. i have no faith in him.

See above. I'm thinking about throwing a bit on Zab, even though I'm favoring Garcia.
I put $10.00 on him...I think Garcia is decent but HEAVILY OVERHYPED and is overlooking Zab to a large degree. I got those odds or slightly better....Garcia will be in for a shock, he is letting the hype get to his head. His dad will be a big reason for his fall too.
