Teddy Atlas made a good point last night,he said he wants to see these two warriors fight again next.Because if one of them should lose it would take something off of the 3rd match between them..Do you agree?
I prefer them fight other fighters. An immediate trilogy won't do anything for me. It's a waste of time. Life is too short. Variety is the spice of life. Anything can happen along the way. Rios vs other fighter, or Alvarado vs other fighter, is more interesting. So Alvarado or Rios wins in a trilogy. So what? I've seen the action twice. Seeing the same thing in a sport where it takes years and years to see stars fight each other doesn't make sense.
I voted yes for selfish reasons. I want to see Pacquiao fight Marquez or Bradley next which would have to happen if these two have a rematch next. They are evenly matched and will probably always make a good fight. I think Alvarado owes Rios a rematch sooner or later because Rios gave him a chance to even the score. I think Rios would probably win a rematch. If they take a break from each other and fight someone else that would be fine with me also.
No. To much...over kill! Let them go off and fight others and build up their reps some more. Get some good fights...hopefully some good wins. Because we all know it will be a great fight as always. Build it up some more.
on the other hand if Rios or Alverado loses. It will be bad for their rematch. just have to wait and see how the cards fall! We do need the rubbber match though!
Alvarado or Rios would be either match up with Bradley Marquez Pac or Provodnikov. There is a big chance they can lose to any of them tbh..
I voted yes.
They didn't take a break between fight one and two and both were incredible. Both want to go again, fans want to see them go again....Bob Arum has a way of letting fights people want to see end up never happening (usually due to one of them losing) so I'd rather that wasn't an option.
they're tied in 2 action fights, why not a trilogy?
winner can go on and chase a title match afterward
don't want either backing off, thinking about Pac or money
that stuff is tired, enjoying some good fights getting made
if the TR-GB thing goes on, they both have limited options anyway
they'll both have options with a few other TR guys
the other hand is it healthy and right for them to have non stop wars? surely it would be much better for their health to have one soft fight and then go again rather non stop wars
Clearly its not healthy going toe to toe in Wars like they have fought against each other but thats who these men are and what they signed up for (especially Bam Bam)
Would taking an easy fight inbetween make any difference health wise? I dont think so, they will only take additional punches before they face off again. These guys are not gonna be the next Hopkins and Foreman they need to be involved in as many big and relevant fights as possible while they can
It is business, both are hot property right now, top rank has invested a lot in them, give them 1 or 2 soft fights and then match them again.
the problem we as the public only have hbo left now for competitive fights, I mean canelo is having is first one ever but golden boy put on trash cards after trash, look at the khan diaz, garcia judah and they are planning an even worse one later it was said here
so we are desperate for top rank to put this fight together....its a no win situation really
the other hand is it healthy and right for them to have non stop wars? surely it would be much better for their health to have one soft fight and then go again rather non stop wars
Well we have had two OUTSTANDING fights and a are now 1 a piece, a third fight should show who the better man is and most importantly would surely be another barnburner! Just make sure these warriors get paid well!
I think they should, just get a clear victory while both are still at the top of their games.Never know what might happen if they go off and fight other fighters.
