Come on... it's the WBC!
Devon Alexander was named #1 for WW's while he was still JWW.
They've been trying to make this fight forever, but Khan can't seem to get a win to move up there.
Honestly, I hope that they force him to fight Abregu since he's the #1, but wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they moved him down in favor of Khan without ever fighting or Khan fighting at WW.
I'd pay to see this for sure, along with a million other people.
See how floyd deals with Khans speed, reach and jab - not to mention showtimes coverage would be entertaining. Would be about 10x more fun than a fight with Devon.
Counter punch him to the tune of the chicken dance?
I'm not against a fight happening, but the positioning is b.s as usual
Even Devon Alexander is a better more meaningful fight than that worthless affair. Who the hell would be dumb enough to cough up money for such trash??

I saw this ranking a while back. I used this example to state why its meaningless for Floyd fans to say Floyd is not being selective because he fought the #2 so and so.
You will see, .... If Khan fights Floyd, Floyd fans will say but Khan was ranked #2 ....
It was a bit of both. Outside of the 154 division who would you like to see him fight? (realistically, so no TR opponents)

It would be a fun fight for however long it lasted. Lots of interesting elements not least seeing how Hunter would approach Floyd with Khan's speed.
Not the best fight in the world right now but there's still a lot to enjoy.
I really hope you're being sarcastic right now.:grumpy:

No, it'll be good fun with an entertaining build-up. Floyd only usually fights once a year, so consider it a bonus!

No it wouldn't, not all all. In fact, that fight is pointless and a total waste of 2 months.

khan vs mayweather is 1 the most exciting fights stylewise and even if khan got knocked out it would be 1 of the best fights in years.

I don't know why people just don't come out with why dis really happened. It's all because of Floyd. That's what dis is really about. They put him in this position because they think Floyd beats the Ghost and instead of having him fight the winner of Trout/canelo, they'll let him fight the likes of Amir Khan.
This is a fight Floyd fans have been dying for until Garcia ended the hype. But they'll find a way to defend this move cause they know it's an easy W. Then they'll blame Khan and the wbc, but when it comes to blaming Floyd, they'll be like:dunno:
Yes,I am surprised.I knew the WBC was really bad. I knew they did what ever they pleased and constantly broke their own rules.I have never seen them give a guy a #2 rating when he has never won a fight in that weight class. That's a new one. Usually they go out of their way to arrange things for Mexicans to win their title but I guess they think Khan will bring them lots of money if he gets the Mayweather fight.
khan needs to be smart, move up to 147 after this and then take some soft fights, he will always be a cash cow in a sense, garcia will move up himself to fight him
isn't Khan supposed to fight the JWW series winner?
don't think he'll go back down once he goes up to WW
he's got enough problems without juggling 2 weight classes
He supposed to.... doesn't mean he will though
