Im told that the YGamboa-JCBurgos fight hit a financial snag, and that fight is off the table and gone to Bolivian... #boxing
Maybe Fiddy can get Gamboa a Friday Night Fights date...
We a quarter into the new year and Gamboa still doesn't have a fight lined up. I hate that he's been so inactive and wasting away the prime years of his career.
Hopefully the HBO date gets saved and he can get a solid opponent in the ring with him.
Gamboa and Dirrell should have never signed with 50. :pat:
you aint lying man!!...Fif was depending on Floyd...thats why he got so emotional about Floyd not rocking with that SMS bullsh1t :lol1:
Nonito gonna win that fight man Easy Money,
Cant bet all my points cause I have the same bet with few otherr silly cubans, I'll put up 30 bil though on Nonito to win the fight.
Let me know.
Read what I wrote again, reeaal slooow this time.
The nature of my bet is clear -- for anyone with a modicum of reading comprehension, at least. You've obviously been spouting off that Rigo is gonna take a snooze. Okay, then, let's make the same bet you did with Angry Cuban, for 30 bil, if you're so sure.
Note the highlighted words, and notice the difference between the past tense I used and the present tense you used.
Beyond that, Gamboa remains one of the most electrifying fighters in boxing. He's blazingly fast, athletic, aggressive, explosive and hard-hitting. So what he's taken a seat a few times? So have guys like JMM and Trinidad. Nobody gripes about their trips to the canvass, yet some people expect Yuri to get KOed for exhibiting the same tendencies.
I welcome a fight between Gamboa and Mikey Garcia, big time. We'll settle this silly issue once and for all...with "El Ciclon" ultimately victorious.
You will once again be disappointed
I'm so regretting that move of leaving Arum for Gamboa now: seventeen months on the shelf and sluggish activity since then. Yuri's career is not looking promising anymore. Such a damn shame. The kid had amazing potential.
Gamboa has potential??? He is what he is at this point. ****y, nonchalant, flashy speedster with great combinations, and weak chin.
The guy might as well fight someone elite, get KO'd, and get it over with.

he wasnt gonna do shit. Can we feed him to Garcia already to just end his career at least with a boxing match rather then he retire sitting on his./
Yeah, yeah...bet me the rest of your points that Rigo gets KOed by Donaire and stop talking crap.
Neither gamboa or Direll wasn't doing much before 50.
Y is it 50 fault no one want to fight gamboa?
Gamboa was in line to get the biggest payday of his career in one of the most anticipated fights in recent years. Now he's fighting on undercards looking ****ty because he fights once a year.
Dirrell wasn't doing much but now he's doing even less. One cancelled fight after another since he signed with SMS.
Exactly! Gamboa leaving Top Rank for 50 was very dumb. What the hell was he thinking :nonono: Gamboa would have been a 135 champ by now if would have stayed with Arum.
One of the dumbest career moves I've ever seen. Up there with Marquez turning down 750k for a Pacquiao rematch and instead fighting Chris John in Indonesia for 30k.
