Why do people say or pacmans done?

I dont think he's done he's just been fading for a while now but even a fading Pacquiao is better than most at WW so it has had little impact, well of course until hes face impacted Marquez fist.

2 meaningful fights this year then call it a day imo.

I'm not biased with any fighter and PAC won the Bradley fight and was winning the Marquez fight until my fellow Mexican caught him, plus people say he was kod and he is damaged goods that might be the case, but I doubt it he's been kod before in his career ,bad too. He's lost his last two fights..Not to mention it's not hard to see he's not the fighter he once was.. I actually believe he might have something left in the tank..But he'll never be what he once was again..

Because they believe Pacman is done? He didn't look good against Mosley desptie winning easy, he didn't look good at all against JMM in the third fight, he didn't look great against Bradley despite winning in my eyes, AND then he got starched by JMM. That right there is what you call a trend, and boxers late in their career almost never reverse that sort of trend especially smaller guys who rely on their athletic ability.

We've all seen Pacquiao gradually slip starting with the Mosley fight where he looked sloppy, not into it and out of shape. He became getting soft when he didnt want to finish off Margarito and let him cruise. Hard to get back that killer instinct when ur on top. He def let fame get to him Bradley made a great point too saying his punch resistance went down cuz he ballooened up and weight and didnt stay active. Pacquiao doesnt do anything related to boxing after fights and expects to just train a few months and be like he was? Even Sergio Martinezs trainir or promoter said he saw the downfall of Pac because his heart was not 100% into boxing anymore and warned Sergio to not follow now that heson top as well

PAC ain't done by a long shot. Yeah, Marquez knocked him out but he's the only guy that's been able to compete with him over the last few years. Morales beat him but then he got beat down in the next 2 fights. Aside from them, PAC has steam rolled over everybody he's faced.

Same idiots that said Cotto was done after pac and the first marg fghts. What does done mean , I dont think it means cant win fights , I think it means cant be what your were , a big drop in your ability to win over elite prime fighters , Cotto didnt have the superman tag applied to him which makes it easy to be a rugged competitor coming back , Manny can still be that until he is 50 if he wanted but he is not beating the elite guys and neither was Cotto , Manny is much safer fighting low defence stand there guys low Rios and Alvarado , if they beat him give it away .

Pacman's done. It's better that way. The flojob community gets restless when he's around. At the end of the day, it's his decision whether to come back or not regardless of who he fights. Another KO is possible. JMM wants none of Pac at this point and I don't think Mayweather will ever step up to the plate. Anyway, there are lots of fights I'm looking forward to. Manny definitely is slowing down. Comparing how his body can perform from the ODLH fight to now, he's definitely on a downwards slope. Although I still see him being very big trouble or beating most dudes that would want to challenge him. Manny isn't a fighter to take lightly. He is winding down. It's a shame he still has a promoter instead of promoting himself because these are his last few fights and he should be maximizing his profits at this point. Very true. Hes lost a step or two & just got brutally KTFO, I can't recall a fighter that age coming back from a K.O loss like that. Don't think he can adapt either, he is what he is.

both his fans and detractors say it for very different reasosns. his detractors just want to clown him. His fans dont want to see him ko'd anymore.

It's plain to see he's on the downward slide. Doesn't do the fitness regime Ariza set out for him that made him look so damn good, doesn't even remotely listen to Roach. He is still a great fighter, but will not be the fighter he was unless he goes back to doing **** 100% with no shortcuts, which isn't even an option given his current life style.

Manny Pacquiao has been slipping from where he was since the Cotto fight. Now being knocked out in violent form, good chance his rate of decline is going to steepen further. But count on seeing him in the ring for a lot longer. His money situation and money management skills will/do necessitate it.

Done is harsh, but his passion for the sport has visibly lessened over the years, and when he finally looked like he might have it back for Marquez 4, he got knocked out in a way that fighters typically don't just recover from. He'll never be the fighter he used to be, and he has a challenging road back to the top. I don't think he'll make it back.

LMAO @ you saying the Bradley fight was a close fight. Even the Mayweathers who hated Pac to the bone admitted it was a daylight robbery. I myself didn't find that fight close at all. I am a fan of Bradley and not manny... but Bradley lost pretty clearly. That said, I think arum had something to do with that whole thing to try to set more fights up, as his list of fighters that manny could get in the ring with was starting to get very very short. I do feel in a rematch Bradley does much better and could win a clear UD, but he would have to just use his actual boxing skill and not pull that same stuff he did in his last fight.
