can't imagine that happening unless you do it with lousy technique, probabley did it while you were tired as sht right?
Well, Ive done it as well. Sometimes when I try to go "balls out" on my heavybag I start to get sloppy. Its caused some shoulder issues on occasion. I try to do this when I feel energetic
But me and the heavybag working together look more like this
seige mentaltity of the floms....when in doubt, invent and make yourself look like a prick, that flojobs for you!:lol1:
Son, the only ring you have been near is Floyd's (*), and you probably had to have yours smashed by Lenny and at least 8 other dudes before you could even get into the cubicle.
A teenager calls a 60 yr old son thats what I call the small man big head mentality , lol you kids are a crack up , the boxing ignorant breed like bacteria in this forum , you cant spot them straight away they give each other green K for infecting as many hate threads as they can .
I've ****ed my shoulders up going hard on a heavy bag. You just don't do it.

Fixed,......
I was going to qualify that with relation to Iceman, or at least say with all due respect to Iceman.
Also I was going to say everyone on the forum combined~
This fight aint going ahead.... No fan of Guerrero but floyd will find a way out.
yeah because mayweather has a history of backing out of signed fights a month away from fight night.......
jesus christ this **** is stupid, If you dont like boxing or dont like a fighter then go talk on a knitting forum or some **** instead of writing stupid stuff like the above that you dont actually believe.
Floyd has some bizarre training routines, but they work for him.
That's the thing, though: what he's doing in that video is not bizarre at all. Only someone who has no knowledge of training would argue otherwise.
A lot of times you don't want to start off hitting the heavy bag as hard as you ****ing can. Similarly, you don't necessarily start hitting the speed bag as fast as you can. In the video, Floyd is clearly either (a) warming up or (b) practicing technique.
Floyd looks just fine and who knows what he was even trying to accomplish at that exact moment in time.
Floyd has some bizarre training routines, but they work for him.
A better exercise than criticism is to figure out what he is actually trying to do in that routine and how that helps him train~ because I am sure Floyd knows more about training to be a high level fighter than everybody on this whole forum, except rockin.

I did the same thing about Pacquiao, he looked slow on the heavybag compared to before, nobody had a problem when I said that and some actually agreed. Just an observation is all, I see some slight slippage in Floyd, I've seen him hit the bag this way before and he had sharper shots and more sting.
Not the same... Pacquiao actually goes balls to the wall at times on the heavybag... Floyd never goes balls to the wall, as far as speed, on the heavybag. He does cardio drills, technique drills, and just works the bag. He puts his real effort into the mitts, jump rope, strength training, and running.
Uh Ohhhhhh looks like the so called "experts" is wrong again lol
HEAVY BAG
Fighters quickly learn that throwing power punches means getting your whole body involved in the process. It's not enough to use your arms and fists. You must start the punch with the power in your legs, your torso, upper body and shoulders in addition to your arms and fists. Hit the bag for three minutes at a time -- the same amount of time in a boxing round -- and then take a one-minute break before hitting the bag again. This will help you develop your power punching.
I guess it would help if some of the people on this forum would actually try training/boxing. Then we wouldn't have idiotic threads like this.
First of all, a heavy bag is not a speed bag, which tests one's speed. Second, you're looking at a short clip of a much, much longer workout. Third, his technique looks solid as hell here.
ur suppose to hit the heavybag as hard as u can. if u want to work on technique so precise u shadow box while looking a mirror in front of u.
What the **** lol who told that ?
The heavy bag at the gym i go to is just a solid slab of concrete, i usually aim to throw about 300 power shots a minute for about 20 minutes straight with no gloves or wraps on.
..and after i've finished there is just a pile of dust.
It's amazing to me to see people on here critiquing the training of a guy who has fought 43 times and never lost.

The short film of him on the bag is NOT the way you work a heavy bag. Floyd does what he does and can be seen like this just for "effect"! First off the bag is to heavy for his body weight, second the reason to work a heavy is to increase power and have the option of moving 360 degrees! Turning shoulders and hips and getting that deep punch feel is the objective not short stepping and arm punching like he's displaying!!! Especially that forearm right hand punch that couldn't hurt a wounded fly!!!!
This isn't a workout its a propaganda film. :nana::dunno::banghead: Ray.
you cant truly be this dense.
this is what Floyd does on the bag..go watch him on the bag training for Mosley,Ortiz, and Cotto..this is the purpose for the bag..
these so-called boxing fans crack me up..
