Boxing management game possibly coming

Just seen that this boxing management game is in the works. Check out the demo. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1214672368/ring-kings-boxing-manager-game It needs funding but I guess it could still get picked up by a publisher if they don't manage to "self fund" it. This game would consume all my spare time, Arum and Schaffer, I would show you how it's done :lol1:

£300K was such a ridiculous goal. My god, what were these people thinking? Tim Schaefer didn't even ask for that much for his kick starter.

If this game came out I'd play the shlt out of it! Shame it never came through, it's a good idea for a game that involves the management side of boxing coz it's never been done great before (to my knowledge), but then again, that's probably why this didn't pull through...

Hi guys you can donate in dollars or pounds, we are a british company so the campaign is in Pounds. There is a conversion chart on kickstarter. Reminder, if we do not reach our goal NO ONE is billed.

Can we contribute in dollars? I don't think this goal is actually is that hard. I mean, how hard could it be to get 300K people WORLD WIDE to donate Â£1 or a couple of dollars? Football Manager is by a distance the most successful sports management game out there and it sells around a million a year worldwide. That's a 20 year established franchise with a big marketing budget.

@ chav the way kickstarter works is you dont even get billed unless the full amount is met on May 6th. If we are over 300k on may 6th then the project is successful then you get billed. on that day. hope that clear its up for you.

BTW have you guys thought about releasing this for mobile/android? It seems to be the best bet for Indy publishers these days and boxing games sell like hot cakes in the android shops. Or the Apple Store.

A watered down android app version would be a good idea after we launch the PC game I hope you guys manage to get the game off and going. Tell me something - if I pledge £20 and you dont make the £300K, which honestly doesnt look too promising, what happens to my pledge money? Do you keep it or would I get it back?
