Hope we can see it at some point while it matters.
That's the thing. Sergio is 38. How long more are those reflexes and that conditioning going to last.
He's good enough with the jab and cutting off the ring to hypothetically give Sergio some trouble. That's a big step up for Golovkin though. I'd feel confident picking Sergio. Golovkin may not be troubled by the punches of the people he's fighting now, but a few rounds of straight lefts might make him wary.
Hope we can see it at some point while it matters.
Agreed. I'm a little caught up in Golovkin-mania and would need to see GGG take out a better MW to confidently say he could potentially beat Sergio.
I do think he has what it takes, but it is also hard to tell with the big power punching guys. It is easy to get enamored with the power but they seem to get exposed at some point more often than not.
Martinez won't take the fight which is sad because he could win it convincingly. GGG would take him to hell and back though win or lose.
Martinez vs GGG is the figt at MW right now.
I would favor Sergio to beat GGG.
Would never bet on it though because I think GGG has more power and a more inspired fighter than JCC jr so I think he could rough him up much more throughout. It really just depends how sergio reacts to getting hit and vice versa.

favorite food: MEAT :lol1:
That's brilliant :lol1:
HBO could learn a thing or two about presentation from this crew.
STAY AWAY SERGIO STAY AWAY
GGG is building to a PPV must-see vs Sergio in 2 fights if they both keep winning. Sergio has Murray and Chavez next though...then GGG. GGG will get a Brian Vera type on HBO to help build him even more. Man ,he can punch but Sergio is in a different league than Ish. :boxing:
Let's wait and see what Sergio looks like upon his return from the Chavez bout and his injury bcse there could be alot of interesting responses/comments April 28th depending on how he looks .:purity:
