Pacquiao was unstoppable that night dude was throwing nonstop bombs and walking through hard punching cottos shots like. They were nothing...he was a beast that night I think he would have beat anyone and I mean anyone that night..anyone agree..we need that pac again man!
Now while i agree PAC looked great that night..I completely disagree with the whole he would have demolished anybody comments..
agree, it was a good fight but these threads are like the equivalent of masturbating in public. please rub your pac dolls in private.
yeah, i loved this fight. tbh, i liked every fight cotto lost in, :lol1: i don't have anything against him, i respect him as a fighter, but man, his losses were in entertaining fashion imo (trout included). too bad that version of pacquiao didn't last longer. mayweather/pacquiao could have been a great fight.
Man this fight really brings out the peasants in full force. They just can't stand that Pac stopped Cotto and Floyd went life and death with a super shot version of him. :lol1:
True zero confidence probably the worst Cotto been ever in his career also people need to remember he never made 147 after this fight
Just like Floyd never made 147 for his Marquez fight.
Yeah the PED epidemic is crazy right now. Look at all of the cheats getting caught left and right. Berto, Morales, Peterson, Tarver, Wach, Bey, Holt. :nonono:
Funny most of them were handled by Floyd Manager and boxing promoter.
I did move on its you fanboys that keep bringing up your BS , Manny went down like the titanic , his WW run was the biggest snow job in the history of boxing , gunna make a great read when somebody does write a book about it , Arum will singing in the background I did it my way .
50 tells it straight, Floyd ducked the fight and continued to duck it. Not because he was scared but because his head is so big he couldn't handle another fighter sharing the lime light. Floyd is the reason the fight never happened now move on.

The evidence does not say that , Manny walked out on a 50/50 thats a fact , whenever Manny was a free agent he would not accept a Floyd fight , when Floyd is signed to fight somebody else Manny pipes up lol , somebody will write a book one day on the fight that never was , and believe me Manny will be exposed clearly when the time line is analyzed .
lol 50cent said , lol , that snake would say anything after he is dumped lol

Floyd always moves the goal posts, he never wanted to fight Manny. The tests were just another road block, you can see after Manny agreed, Floyd moved the goal posts again, this time on money.

It was good fight. I think pac's best win to date. I like watching that fight and just watched it again recently. That PAC could not beat Floyd though. I dont know what cotto was doing in that fight. He could have made it easier on himself if he just took a step back. He just kept coming forward and kept eating pac's punches. One step back every time PAC came forward would have change the whole fight. Floyd is great at staying out of range. He will either be too far or too close. He would have made that same PAC look ordinary.
And for the people who say that fight is the one that had Floyd scared and asking for testing to avoid the fight... How did Floyd know pacman would refuse the test? Can someone please answer this for me.

Lmao @ Bradley. PAC beat himwithout breaking a sweat and Bradley just went life and death with PAC's sparring partner. Log off, kid.
True one fight defines a fighter(not)..Oh and btw Bradley owns a win over Pac(one Pac did not want to make right)..So I feel very justified in feeling the way I do..
Oh btw Pac's loses before Morales Bradley and Marquez, was to who again??LOL STFU son..:bounce::tapedshut

i wasn't impressed.....this is easily one of his most overrated wins. cotto was coming off being beaten with bricks and he just went through a war with clottey.....cotto had zero confidence going into that fight and add to the fact that he was weight drained. many of his wins are overhyped and this is definitely one of them.
True zero confidence probably the worst Cotto been ever in his career also people need to remember he never made 147 after this fight
Now that is what i do not understand,he destroyed Cotto at a catchweight,ok cool.so why even try to rematch him??and then ask for another catchweight on top of that?
Exactly , not only wanted a rematch Manny only wanted it with a CW , he is scared to fight Cotto healthy , because Cotto at a healthy weight made Manny go find a 140 pounder that ironically beat him anyway .
Ducking Cotto on weight after beating the guy with a CW is just so blatant , its the same Cotto right , wrong and thats why Manny WILL NOT fight him without some forced draining first .
Who beats him that night
Floyd schools him any night , you got know idea how much it changes when you change the opponents style , and off course not having a weight drained guy in front of you makes a world of difference also , Manny DUCKED a healthy Cotto twice , burn that into your brain !
Fanboys are so short sighted .
I think Marquez blew that fight. He was up and IMO he gave away the last couple rounds and lost the fight.
While you're right that JMM gave away the late rounds, if you look at the official scorecards I'm not sure they were ever going to give it to him.

Glenn Trowbridge was clearly not going to hand in a card that gave Marquez the victory. His card is really a 117-111 Pacquiao card, with the last round being given to JMM for the sake of appearances.
The funny thing about the last three rounds is that they all found a round to give to him, but for each of them it was a different round. In fact, for the entire second half of the fight, there's only one Rd that all three judges agreed upon, the 7th.
Personally I felt it was a close but clear victory for Marquez. I thought he won 7 of the first 8 rounds, but gave away the late ones because his activity dropped off way too much. I guess it was a calculated risk on his part, give up rounds for the sake of avoiding risk. Whether the judges were ever going to give it to him or not it was a stupid thing to do.
Pac did indeed look great on the night, but Cotto's problems were part of the reason. He was coming off the Margacheato beatdown and a life and death battle with Clottey and he was a total mess; basically training himself, awful footwork, terrible gameplan, etc...
Reagrding Pac-JMM 3, that fight was not even close. 117-111 Marquez.
