Duquense went to see rigo train in Boca Raton and told me that Rigo expects to play around with Donaire for a little bit and then KO him. Apparently Rigo is looking extremely sharp and said that he hopes Donaire tries to hit him with his famous left hook because he will counter him with "el regalito del 2013" lmao.
Note: The 300k bonus is for whoever delivers a KO not only Rigo
lmfaaoo at do the same exact thing from a conception jab. No it wasnt the same and conception had a huge weight advantage at that fight.
Rigo is physically out matched in this fight. Donaire does very well vs fighters who are shorter than him.
the joke is on you rigo fans. This fight is basically Rigo's retirement party. He's cashing out.
Win, lose or draw, Rigo ain't going nowhere. Arce and Nishioka were both at the end of their careers; that's why they retired after facing Donaire. Although relatively old, Guillermo is only starting his pro career. Rigo is putting in a good performance, regardless of the outcome. His career will continue, no problem.
And we all saw Donaire do the exact same from a Concepcion jab. Well not all, most Donaire fans have only watched his two last fights & a 10 second highlight from the Darchinyan fight.

great so what i have seen cespedes strike out to some silly pitches and then come up and crush some of the best off speed pitches that lincecum threw his way. I will never look at one punch from one of the fights of any opponent and say well in this one fight this one punch landed so that means against this oponent he will get ko'd by the same shot lol thats silly
It's not silly when a fighter gets hurt twice by left hooks in one fight and his next opponent is probably the best left hooker in the business.
I'm not even sure he was hurt by that punch tbh
:lol1::lol1:
left hook this left hook that lmao thats all i have heard for a month , too bad that **** won't do a damn thing
I wonder if people remember the concepcion/donaire fight
lol I haven't posted much on this topic lately because the discussion has become so damn repetitive. It's all about Donaire's hook and Rigo's chin. I'm not terribly concerned about Nonito's power, as you can tell by the bets in my sig. I'm much more concerned about activity. I think Donaire will be the aggressor in this fight. I believe Guillermo will play the role of counterpuncher. If Rigo isn't active enough, Nonito could win on aggression alone. I love the idea of a KO bonus; it encourages more aggression and risk-taking from both men.
I've only seen a few rounds of the Donaire-Concepcion fight. If one only saw that bout as an example of Nonito's work, one would wonder why Donaire is ranked P4P. Few boxers look impressive every time out. That's as true of Nonito as it is of Guillermo.

that concepcion gabve him hell the scores were to wide, it might've even been a draw
Rigo will wanna get on the first boat back to Cuba once he feels Donaire's power.
We all saw what a jab did to him in the Cordoba fight.

With his low right hand he better not try to go to the body too much or he'll be wide open for a deadly left hook.

I think Rigo might hurt Donaire real bad with a body shot.

If Rigo looks for the KO, he will get KO'd himself. He is a great technician and arguably the best counter puncher today but he has only showed it against weak competition. Donaire is light years more skilled, quicker and a bigger puncher above anyone Rigo has faced.
He should get a bonus if he takes a left a hook and is still standing.

yea it was in boca, he said he is about to leave for ny but wasn't sure when i guess this upcoming weekend
Ah, true indeed. Shouldn't have listened to guy, I was going to go down there a couple weeks ago, but guy told me at the weigh-ins for the Cruz-Martinez fight that he was supposedly in Tampa. Oh well, hopefully he still trains out there from now on, ABC has a great facility. Cory trains out there, too.
Man thanks for the video..
No doubt hermano, just found it today. War Rigo! Check out my vimeo, there's a quick clip on this Cuban fighter promoted by Acquinity Sports that fought out here on the undercard of Cruz-Martinez.
So he is training in Boca? I was told otherwise so that stopped me from going out there. Is he still training there this week or is he heading out to NY?
