I'm a biiiiiiig Calzaghe fan and i'd definately have a prime 90's RJJ over Joe by a fair margin, I think Sugar Ray would get beaten too but it'd be a lot closer
Current RJJ vs Calzaghe, it'd be another beat down for Roy.
I really wish he'd quit soon before he ruins his legacy totally.
Robinson threw wide punches and would get countered badly by Roy.
wide punches isn't always a bad thing, in fact for roy who used to love to pull back ray might land something that could quickly bring an end to the fight
i think it'd be a slow paced fight, lots of fienting and single digit landed shots, both guys would be fairly hesitant when they realise the man infront is very fast and looking to capatilise on mistakes
i'd choose roy to win by a clear but close decision, around 8 rd's to 4

Everyone back then would throw wide punches, as i said the game has evolved. Regardless even if he threw straight punches I still dont envisage Robinson winning
Jones is delusional. He'd be lucky to beat an egg nowadays. And Calzaghe never ducked anyone unlike Jones who fought bums on hbo and wouldn't leave america. Both Kessler and Lacy were favourite to beast Calzaghe and he easily beat them both.
Actually I think SRR will have a decisive advantage in technique. That being said, Roy will more than make up for it with his speed and sharpness. I see this looking like Jones vs Toney but a lot more competitive surely.

Roy Jones Jr. would more than likely whip Calzaghe's ass in a rematch. You can't coke up for a number of years, get out of shape and then come back a success. Just look what happened to Ricky Hatton the other day.
Prime for prime Roy Jones Jr. would demolish Sugar Ray Robinson.
If they fought at 160 Roy would beat the hell out of Robinson,He had the speed, power and is the more athletic fighter.Robinson would have no advantage at all in this fight.

That fact that this guy talks like this confirms to me that Robinson beats the snot out of him!!! He can match Sugars speed but thats it! he can't punch with him and Robinson would punch right with him too!!!! They can fight at 160+5 as long as the weighin is the day of the fight. Make it 15 rounds and you'll see what heart is all about and the will to win!!
Roy needs to stick with Calzache someone who can't break an egg!! Ray

That highly depends. If we drop the remains of Ray on top of Roy there's at least 50% chance of a KO.
Id say more than 50%. RJJ already looks punch drunk in that video at first page lolz
Well the Roy today would beat the Robinson of today.

In his prime of course. In a rematch today with Joe-C? Why should we talk about it? Jones shouldve retired already and we havent seen Joe fight in yeeeears.
