i wanna see what peoples respnses are, lol, i just am curious, Please do not include fights of people who lost in a bad decision. im speaking of just the winners of the fights(gift decision winners count if you wanna choose that as a fight that is a beloved fight for you personally as a fan
im not saying this has to be the fight of the year or the best fights youve ever seen but what fights meant the most to the posters on this site(individually)
my list
1.Morales vs Pacquiao
2.Morales vs Barrera
3.Chavez vs Taylor
4.Marquez Vs Pacquiao 4
5.Margarito Vs Cotto
my list is mainly for rivalries and because it involves one of my fellow mexican fighters winning

Idk man. People talk sh1t about cherry pickers or at least pretend to but then turn around and hate on someone like Cotto who obviously fights anyone. I mean, he fought Trout. A big and long southpaw in his prime while Cotto himself is on the decline.

why is cotto losing against somebody always on somebodies list???????????????? i seen margarito beating cotto, floyd beating cotto and even pac beating cotto, lol, everybody seems to like it personally that cotto losing
I don't relish Cotto's defeats. To give Pac and Floyd their day in the sun, I picked some of their most iconic wins. I could have picked Floyd over Corrales or Gatti as benchmark wins for him, but I chose to Highlight a Floyd fight from recent times. It speaks of my respect for Cotto that it was such a big deal that those two beat him how they did. But, trout or marg over Cotto was not on my list. If anything Mosley over Marg was close to making my list.
Corrales over Castillo
Adrien broner over demarco (love broner no homo)
Arturo gatti over ward
Oscar over mayorga
Danny garcia over amir (shocked me and I lost 200$ because of mr piñata chin)
Wlad Klitschko - Sam Peter I Klit was a 3-1 underdog when the books opened and I made $7500 off the fight because people believed the hype about the Nigerian Nightmare
Calzghe-Lacy - Because it was hilarious to see Lacy beaten like a drum
Froch - Bute - Because I told everyone on this site that Bute sucked for years and said Froch would steamroll him in a non competitive fight
Pavlik-Miranda - Same as above, I told everyone Miranda sucked - he was a 3-1 favorite. Won a bunch of money betting on Kelly
Martinez - Chavez Jr. - Because I like Sergio and hate Junior. Was made all the better because I live close to Mexico and was in a bar with a crowd that was 99% for Chavez. Rubbing it in their faces made it so much better.
That fight as well as De la Hoya vs Pacquiao are my favorites to watch. De la Hoya cause he tried to cherry pick a smaller fighter and it backfired, Calzaghe cause he was the underdog despite Lacy being so darn overrated.

Luisito Espinosa-Alejandro Gonzalez II - Cobrita kayoed King Loiue in fight 1. and fight II was in Guadalajara. Espinosa proved himself by knocking Gonzalez senseless. incredible!
Rolando Navarrete-Carlos Boza Edwards - What a left hook!!! Lights out!!!
Barrera - Pacquiao I - 100% of the fans who anticipated this fight did not expect what happened. Its unbelievable Barrera won a single round at most.
Holyfield - Bowe III - Im a big fan of Evander and i really expected a KO win for Evander after he went agressive in the 8th.
Ali-Holmes - Ali is/was a hero in this country after Thrilla. I think the whole country was a lil depressed after the fight.

Floyd-Cotto... That was just a classic example of a technician outwitting and outslicking a larger opponent. Oddly comforting match, like the brutality was transcended and we just get to see Mayweather's brilliance. Hard to explain.
Maidana-Ortiz... Ortiz comes in as heavy favorite, drops Maidana, then Maidana comes back and drops him. An epic war ensues and Maidana, through sheer tenacity and grit, breaks Ortiz's will. Classic Maidana.
Ali-Foreman... The first time I saw that recording I was astounded at the air of suspense, the venue, the deadly forces at work, and how Ali calmly defused a titan of a fighter over those long rounds on the ropes and put the beast down. Epic epic epic fight
Pac-Cotto- this is what put Pac in superstardom. We all know it. The forum was favoring Cotto overwhelmingly and Pac took Cotto's best and then turned the switch. Classic Pac. This is when everybody thought Pac was near invincible.
SRL- Hearns- when I saw this recording I was really impressed by SRL's ability to take a killer like Hearns into deep water and drown him. Hearns at that time had a big aura of invincibility around him and SRL shattered it.
