English super-middleweight DeGale was set to fight the Colombian at the Glow venue in Kent, but without a clear reason being stated, his promoters have announced the fight and undercard will be delayed.
The official statement read: “Hennessy Sports would like to apologise to everyone that this unfortunate and unavoidable situation has affected.
"Hennessy Sports and James DeGale will be issuing a statement in the coming days regarding the rescheduled date and the situation regarding tickets for this exciting encounter."
Whatever the problem was, it did not appear to pertain to the WBC Silver champion DeGale, who tweeted: "Gutted! Just been told my fight on the 23 March has been postponed! New date to be confirmed!"
Rumour suggesting it had something to do with Channel 5 not wanting to broadcast the fight...typical when you're talking about a Hennessy fighter.
Damn. Im not sure how the network stuff works overseas but I hope this is not a reoccurring thing (if the rumors are true).

AA starts slow Stieglitz knows this so his gameplan was right on punch score then don't give him room to punch worked to a Tee.
Steiglitz/Groves would be nice. If theres no trilogy
When Mosley does it against Margarito its brilliant, when Hopkins does it in every fight its genius. At least Steiglitz is throwing 4 and 5 punch combinations.
no their fcking gay. Hate that sht one of the reasons i want to see bhop get knocked out cold. Steiglitz is a btch though"peeleft:
Abe starts so slow it's hard to say if doesn't want it anymore or if he just cut his losses on this one, it was going to be a long night with one eye lol. Nice by Stieglitz he makes good fights
You think AA would have worked on some new stuff after Froch, Dirrell and Ward all beat him with the same type of style.
But nope, same old sh*t. He does nothing but cover up when the other guy is throwing.
One of the reasons why I never thought highly of him. But let's give Stieglitz some credit.

Bullsh1t Fight only because for what ever reason Abraham did not want to let his hands go
Maybe Stieglitz had something to do with it. Abraham was getting smothered too so...

Co signed. Not like Abraham wanted to do anything anyway.

I'm really not surprised Abraham lost, but I definitely didn't expect that to happen. I thought that Abraham looked like **** in the first fight. He's only willing to fight for a 30 seconds or a minute out of a round. You can only wins so many fights like that.
