Who wins in a rematch between these two fighters and why?
Also, is Bradley forced into a rematch, would he be called a coward and a ducker for avoiding a rematch? (even if he says he wants to move back to 140?)
Bradley fought stubbornly in the fight
didn't look like Ruslan was forcing the exchanges on him
if Bradley fights smarter, he can win the fight
if he wages war again, he won't survive like he did last time
he made his statement, so expect Bradley to win in a smarter showing
find it funny how arum isnt talking about a rematch here for a fight that actually deserves one. but when a guy gets chinned, REMATCH NOW!
You know else isn't talking about fighting a rematch right now? Freddie Roach and Ruslan Provodnikov, because they know they would not win.
Bradley by a more comfortable UD
Nobody is mentioning it but I do think Rust was just as much as a factor as Bradley trying to go out and win over the fans that been bashing him since the Pacquiao fight, he also allowed Roach to get into his head I think and got caught up trying to prove that he is "NOT A RUNNER"
In a rematch I think Bradley fights much smarter, if he doesn't then he gets stopped
If I was Provodnikov I would move on to the winner of Rios vs Alvarado, I think Rios vs Provodnikov styles together would make for a fantastic fight
The fact that Bradley gained 40 pounds is another reason I pick the Russian in a rematch. Dedication to boxing is a big part of how Bradley got so good. Gaining 40 pounds shows a lack of dedication. Bradley made over 5million for the Pacquiao fight and he is almost 30 years old. Maybe he peaked for Pacquiao and is no longer as hungry and on the way downhill.
He couldn't work out because he had 2 broken ankles and couldn't work out for an extended period of time. Bradley's is the last person in the world whose dedication you should be questioning.

I think Bradley took him too lightly.
He'll be better prepared in a rematch and outbox Provodnikov easily.
Agreed. And I think Bradley was too stubborn to fight another type of fight on that night. We've all been there in walks of life, when you just say 'f*ck it'. :headbang: lol
ruslan can TKO bradley if he improves his stamina and applies more pressure. bradley will try and outbox ruslan in a rematch and follow a safe gameplan but i feel he will throw everything out the window once ruslan lands some bombs.
Bradley wins a return which turns out to be less dramatic.
If provodnikov got a new trainer he may increase his chances but Roach isnt the best guy for him and is on a losing streak. He needs to go into a return with fresh ideas otherwise Bradley will pick up with what he had success with last time. Just has to resist those urges to trade where he comes off second best.
for some reason, a lot of people don't seem to realize there's a ground between the inside and outside. it's called mid-range, and Bradley spent entirely too much time there swinging in this fight. his problems weren't really on the inside (ie. on Provodnikov's chest), it's when he was trading with this guy with that little bit of space between them which allowed RP to get his off.
Exactly,
As I said in a earlier post, getting on the inside is not the problem. Bradley is good at getting on the inside land body shots, then either clinch or move out.
Thing is he did neither last saturday, he just kept on trading at mid range.
As a side note,
Some here consider Provodnikov good at cutting the ring,in my opinion his inability to do so actually allowed a still wobbling Bradley to outbox him for 7 rounds.
He wasn't cutting off the ring, he was following Bradley the same way Chavez Jr was following Martinez for 11 rounds.
As far as Bradley being forced into a rematch by being called a coward and a ducker goes I don't think so. When has being called a coward and a ducker ever bothered Bradley? I really don't think Bradley will rematch him. It's one thing for him to trash Pacquiao for not rematching him but quite another thing for him to give the dangerous Russian the rematch he deserves.
I voted for the Russian winning. I thought he won the first fight. He is less experienced than Bradley and morely likely to improve for that reason. He is still learning more so than Bradley who is also trying to improve but has been a champion for years and has sort of peaked.
