And I still haven't read it....
You, me, he, she, we, they all saw P-kov land punches that hurt Timmy bad and P-kov lean on his back and push him down. No one is denying he was hurt. But for some reason some of you are so angry about it that you are lying to yourselves about what you saw, rewriting rules of what a KD is and trying to make chicken dance jokes to hide your pain. Shyt is tired.
BHop cracked the ***** outta Tito then pushed him down.....slick but he did it....however Tito was beat down already and the ref 'missed' it.
Jesse Vargas KD was BOWL SHEET!! But Lucky Boy hit his chest or something and he went down
Andre Dirrell slipping and sliding and falling should be KDs because he's actually taking a knee.
See? Shyt happens. These refs saw what they saw yet Timmy is getting more hate than I've ever seen anywhere.
Hopkins has done this plenty of times in the past as well, jump to 3:44
You not bothering to hear the guy out says more about you, than it does about his post. What's the point of posting this kind of stuff? It always backfires

Man you're full of it. First you said there was no KD in the 12th and now you said he was leaning on the ropes. Go watch the 6th round and fastword to :40 left on the round. He's FULLY SQUATTED on the bottom rope. As in the bottom rope is supporting him up. Had the rope not been there he would've been down. Watch him as he gets off the rope you will see him hurt trying to hold for his dear life.

I said he wasn't dropped in the 12th even though he was out on his feet for half the round and in 6th Bradley did not hold on to the ropes and he didn't go outside the ropes so its not a knockdown don't know why is this hard for you to understand
It is, yet you don't understand it. If you would have gone down had the ropes not been there its a knockdown....that can apply to a myriad of circumstances, not just holding it with your arms like you're trying to pass off. Bradley would have been sitting flat on his ass with 35 seconds left in the 6th had he not sat on the bottom rope...which kept him up.
maybe your just did not understand the Knockdown rules being held up by the ropes is not the same as "going down had the ropes not been there" see that would be very subjective

I watched the fight twice and If I'm not mistaken he was leaning on the ropes don't remember seeing him hanging on to the ropes or any part of his body sticking outside the ropes to keep him up

Agreed, I've watched the sequence over and over, as well as the HBO replay on frame by frame, Tim's legs are gone, he's collapsing forward *into* Ruslan, and his forward momentum is towards a faceplant. Bradley was going down, period.
This! ^^^ Tim was on his way down with or without that little push. As a matter of fact, the push happened as Tim was falling Into Ruslan.

This is true.
the rules is very simple man ropes can't keep you up means you can't hang on to the ropes to avoid going down ie 03:33
if you get hit and you stagger all the way to the ropes its not a KD unless you hold on or part of your body goes outside the ropes

you wouldve stopped that fight in the 6th round....that tells me youre a **** ref because bradley did just fine in rounds 7-10....
Well firstly, the ref called the first "slip". When he stumbled back on the floor, the ref can call that a knockdown.
Judging my ability with hindsight? Please there's so many other stupid posts on here I can waste my time on. It was the round where they were both swinging for 20 seconds straight, and Bradley got the worst of it. (not sure if it's round 6) You don't know what damage Bradley has. I personally thought that was very dangerous refereeing.
It is the 6th that you're talking about. I made a thread with a screenshot and the actual video. Bradley is literally sitting on the bottom rope, not the middle rope, the BOTTOM rope and not responding to punches. Similar to the DeMarco vs Molina stoppage.
After he finally got off the rope you could see him clearly hurt AGAIN.

Its not as unequivocal as you put it. The ref has a responsibility to make sure the fighter is in a position to defend himself. I have seen fights stopped for less than what bradley did in the first round. As a fan I'm glad he didnt because we saw a great fight. For me it was a KD but I dont have a problem with the ref not calling it, he interpreted it his way, but if he wanted to stick strictly to the letter of the law he could have stopped the fight numerous times. There is no absolute right or wrong in this, and to say there is to to put refs beyond error. This isnt and will never be the case.

Refer to my post above yours. It's simple, only a fanboy sees this "push".

So if it wasn't an uncalled KD, why was Bradley chicken dancing? | BoxingScene Community
