Maybe, because, I don't know. He's a human being, and he has an ego just like everyone else. Just a hunch. Now that his nerves have settled, he's back to being cool, calm, and collected. His "normal" self, is a boxer that beats people up for a living. Don't put it past him to talk back. He's not some fake, fraud because of it. It's not nerves or else he would have talked back immediately. His manager, adviser or whatever probably told him to say something and he did, before backpedaling. How is it out of character, when no one has gone that deep with him? Pre fight hype is one thing, but when someone disrespects you on a real level, then you have to respond. It's the fight business. But he eventually took it back so now he's back to being himself.

Not to mention, on his twitter if you look over the last couple of days, people have been blowing up his Twitter saying he's "Not supporting his own race" etc. It's ludicrous. I'm a Floyd supporter, but this whole debacle that he stirred up over nothing just rubbed me the wrong way. Ward is a Christian who tries to practice what he preaches, and he was hurt when Floyd said that insulting crap about his faith, his medal, his drawing power, etc, so later he cooled off and calmed down and is now taking the high road, the guy is a good dude and I think its best he turns the other cheek when it comes to attention whore haters like Floyd. Also those clowns saying Ward is not supporting his own race? Ward is bi racial raised by a single white father and didn't even really know his black relatives, I guess they are okay if Ward disses a white man though? some of these fans are ridiculous why do they always gotta make it about race? I can understand patriotism but this race **** is racist to me. I root for the USA to be honest, but I like fighters from different countries too, I could care less about their race or ethnicity. I like the fighting style of warriors.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if Ward is not responsible for his tweets. A lot of celebrities have their friends manage their accounts so that they can stay in touch with their supporters. There's too big a difference between the things he's on record saying and the things posted on his twitter. That's the thing though, Ward is not a celebrity. Lol. So he definitely does the tweeting himself.

The "call out" tweet he made seemed to be a joke in response to Dan Rafael, and knowing that it's not a big deal. It's the tweet after tweet after tweet that I saw taking jabs at Mayweather that I had a problem with. Why release a statement saying, "call me on the phone and we'll talk like men," when you're just going to go on Twitter and start doing that?
