Floyd has enhanced Wards fan base.

If anything, Mayweather lessened Ward's fanbase. A lot of his fans were Mayweather fans supporting him because of his style and skin color. Now that's an entire section of retards no longer supporting him. The Mayweather haters supporting Ward right now will go back to hating him soon enough.

I think I have seen the light. I used to stand up against the constant bashing of "Floyd fans" on this site because I am one myself. But now I can see where everybody is coming from when they bash his fan base. Unfortunately they put me in the same category as these types of folks. There's a difference between Mayweather fans, and fans of Mayweather. Mayweather fans are the ones like TS, who no matter what he does pull the "you're talking about him, that's what he wants, Floyd's a genius that stacks that paper, 43-0" crap every time he says or does something stupid like this. I try to make that clear when I bash Mayweather fans, because I don't want good ones to think I'm roping them in.

Well any publicity is good publicity especially for a guy like Ward who has been rather inactive with no big fights in the near future. I don't currently know how much it enhanced him, has he been gaining twitter followers I don't follow that? But is certainly hasn't hurt him.
