It's a situation where I think both guys will feel they should be the home fighter, and in turn I think neither will travel. In all truth, based on money and fan interest, I don't think Burns should travel for the fight.
Broner actually said he was willing to travel if the money was right, but then Al Haymon approves his fights.
I think if Broner is able to move back down then the fight gets made.

140? I think is possible.
135? I find it unlikely.
Would be great if he did though. Beat Malignaggi, move back down to 135 and finish business there. Then 140.
Unfortunetly, I think you're correct.
I believe he would beat Ricky pretty easily, but it's a fight with a lot of obstacles; money and location being the main one's. Why move back to 135 for a fight that may not be possible?

I don't think Burns should travel either cause he brings in more in his hometown than Broner does in his but it is what it is. People will claim Broner is the "draw" out of the two.

Probably, at least for 2013, unless Broner is willing to move back down as well as travel which seems unlikely.
You never know though, after Malignaggi GBP might come through with a big money offer for Burns to fight in Vegas in September.
I think Burns will be willing to travel to make that fight.
I just don't see Broner returning to 135 after moving to 147.

Eddie Hearn on Sky Sports just now, saying Broner next would be fine.
One good fight to get him back in the ring, then a mega unification fight.

Not necessarily. You have champions who are willing to travel such as Miguel Vasquez and Richard Abril. I would expect a big-name opponent in September.
Think it's safe to wave goodbye to the Broner fight now?
So Burns is 30 and will continue to fight domestic level...? Well, there goes that.

Good move for Ricky but its no given that Hearn will deliver.
Eddies sjow on Saturday was pretty poor. 3 British fighters all in easy fights against bums. I thought it was Warren that does shows like that. Flick over to box nation and we got 2 competative fights.
Good move for Burns. He's got great support up in Scotland and im sure Hearns will put on some good nights up there.
Warren must hate Hearns even more these days
I saw this coming. Good move for Ricky.
If Broner does return to 135 (Unlikely now) this fight can be made. Shame he didn't move earlier and it would have been made already.
Eddie Hearn pretty much controls UK Boxing at this point.
Yup.
Looks like they'll be annoucing another signing on Wednesday too.
