For all those who say Haye is avoiding Wlad to concentrate on an old faded Vitali, this is for you, straight from Haye via FB:
Hello Facebookers!!! how are you - slightly early so to prempt the most common question some of you will ask - I have made my position very clear, I am happy to fight again if Vitali Klitschko mans up and agrees to fight me, yes I would also consider another fight against Wladimir!! - hope that clears things up - Most importantly of all Happy Mothers Day to all of you fantastic mums!!!
He is going for Vitali as it is (or was) a fight that could realistically be made, and would give him leverage for a Wlad rematch.. I have no doubt Haye would jump at the chance for a Wlad rematch.
I hope we get some news re Vitali soon, whether or not he's retiring.
Wow, you actually made some sense for the first time on this forum. Congratulations!
no, its the first time you've read a post of mine that's not a klitlicker killer.
Plenty of them for you to ignore and run from elsewhere. Otherwise, acknowledge I am fair to any boxer who farts around with their fans.
lol yea cause Wladimir clearly dodged a bullet in their last fight that went 12 rounds...
Maybe after another 12 rounds Haye will finally find his chin?
I've never been a fan of fighters whose only plan to win a fight is to land one big shot. It's like the Donaire- Rigondeaux logic. You ask people how Donaire will win a fight, and all they say is by knockout. Cause he can't beat Rigo any other way. If you're only way to beat someone is to land one punch, then you simply are not that good.
I compare that to Haye vs. Wlad. Haye can not win a decision against Wlad. He doesn't have the boxing skills to do that. To beat Wlad you need to have an inside game. He doesn't have one.
So why would we want to see Haye try to land one punch for 12 rounds again? It didn't work the last fight and he spent the entire time running away trying to land one punch. He did put any punches together.
The outcome will be same. So why not give other HW's a shot?
Exactly. Haye can't beat Wlad. He even landed the hayemaker on Wlad a couple times, but as we saw, Wlad's chin isn't even that bad.

He'd probably do it if he got 50% again, but there's no way he's getting that this time around. Haye knows that and is pretty much still full of sh*t.
As fight fans, we should only approve of a Rematch if they fight until someone is KO'd. That means the fight would have to be longer than 12 rounds because we know that neither will get the KO before that.
Heavyweight Division is suppose to be about the KO's, we watch that Division to see big guys KO'ing each other not to see a Dance Lesson. I think we require a KO in this fight after that travesty of a fight last time.

Haye doesn't even belong in the HW division.
Hes flashinthepan HW, like Roy Jones. Now he has nowhere to go, much like Roy when his career improbably culminated in the HW title.
Tbh he never had a chance with Wlad, who can jab him away and back off all night and he was conceding too much weight CW versus SHW (yeah with the Yeti too but the Yeti wasn't even a proper boxer).

Yeah, what people really want to see is Wlad v Pianeta.
I don't love that matchup but at least Pianeta has not blown his shot yet.
Seriously, why should we give Haye the benefit of doubt all the time? He hasn't even beaten any really good heavyweights.
A very very narrow decision against Valuev, a victory over Chisora (which he shares with Fury) and that's pretty much it.
John Ruiz was way too old and shot to even be bothered to count it.
As far as I'm aware rematches are for when a fight is very close and people are unsure of the decision or if there was a controversial aspect to the fight. We know the fight wasn't close, and the only controversial aspect was Haye being docked a point for the "knock down", but even if the referee returned that point and gave Haye an additional 3 he still would have lost by a considerable margin.
Arreola exciting? Really?
He has done NOTHING since losing to Vitali apart from balloon up and down in weight.
I have no problem with him, he's just terrible.
I do have a problem with utterly useless fighters getting world title shots by beating other useless fighters...even worse when they get more than one title shot by doing it. Beating guys with 7, 11 or 14 losses getting you a title shot is a joke.
Since losing to Adamek, Arreola has beat 7 guys with a combined 47 losses...and he's in line for a title shot. Awful.
If you would have been following Arreola, you'd know he has dedicated himself more to the sport. Wait and see, he will surprise you all.
You have some problem with Arreola, that's fine, he's got plenty of haters. But he also has many supporters.
Arreola is an exciting fighter with a ton of heart. He's improved himself and lost weight. Don't count him out yet. He hurt his hand vs Adamek, maybe he would've won without injury. Vitali is Vitali, but Chris gave a good fight.

Well it's no brainier.
Let's see. He is retired, already lost to Wlad, doesn't really care for his legacy, has nothing to lose.. He would get a nice payday if he ever fights Wlad again.. Fighting Wlad is win-win for him.
This. ^^^^^^^^^.
I thought Haye had always made it pretty clear that he'd fight Wlad again but didn't think that Wlad wanted to give him another shot, and he hasn't criticised him for that. I think he's also stated that he knows that the terms would have to be much more in Wlad's favour if they were to fight again.
Honestly man, not even worth talking anymore.
Arreloa is horrendous. Slow, fat, no skill, no movement....the guy has fought nothing but bums, outside of two opponents, who both beat him easily. One of them being Adamek, who himself is average at best at HW.
The win over Chisroa alone is better than any win on Arreola's record.

Arreola would knock out Haye.
The money fight Wlad-Haye II doesn't happen unless Haye earns his shot. Keep that in mind.
