It's a LW vs WW. That is what makes it interesting. I prefer Broner vs Abril, but that's about all I prefer. The guys at 140 will move up anyway, the fights that can happen at 140 with Broner, will happen regardless at 147 once the guys come up. And how many times must we have to repeat this? Definitely hear you on that one. David Diaz, Margarito, etc. Those are two of Pacquiao's least memorable wins, and Margarito was a lumping disgrace. The belts let the Pacquiao stalkers call him an 8 division champ when it was bullsh*t. Margarito especially, there was zero point to that fight having a belt on the line except to add some stupid meaningless trinket to Pac's career. Its so annoying to hear "8 division champion" for Pacquiao. Just like its stupid to consider Mayweather the "former 140 pound champion" or Broner the "former 130 pound champion." It's actually a decent fight. A hell of a lot of people were completely fine with Pacquiao vs Margarito at 150 for the vacant WBC JMW title as Pacquiao's fight at 154. With Margarito not even being ranked in the top 10 at any weight class. Broner vs Malignaggi, one of the fighters actually hold a title, no vacant title, no catchweight hopefully, Malignaggi is ranked #6 WW. The problem here is that you guys think Broner is too good. Any other WW like Ortiz, Marquez, Guerrero, Bradley, Brook-Alexander winner, would have been seen as a legit fight. Crazy how you would think the complaints would be that Malignaggi is picking on a LW, but Broner is so good that it's seen as him picking on the WW. Any reasonable people???
