Can I have some please? He beat a legend in Morrales - (doesn't mean much but looks good.) He knocked Kahn TFO. He handled Lucas Matthysse who eveybody hyped to destroy Garcia. After that you have Peterson and Judah in the JWW division who have both been beaten by the fighters mentioned above. Admit it - Garcia is the JWW champ and props to him, he did it the hard way, he wasn't hyped and in most cases was the underdog. First Kahn and then Matthysse were both being hyped to be the JWW king. Props to DG.

Well this post demonstrates why people would hate. "Experience fighter in Morales" = In reality he was a completely washed up old fighter, who in reality wasnt even top 20 in the division with a Maidana loss and Cano win. And he fought him 2X. Khan was a great win, he was a top guy in the division and Khan cherry picked him as what he thought was an easy opponent. But he gets way too much credit for Khan. Khan was coming off a loss and was not the top guy anymore, Peterson was, yet he somehow became the "Ring champ" facing the #3 ranked guy. He is not the lineal champ, yet people still think he is. Beating certain fighter gives guys too much credit, I mean if someone beats Khan right now, people will say "he's ranked #2", which is laughable considering he's lost 2 str8. Pac got bumped down to #4 at WW after losing to the 2 best in the world, yet Khan is #2? His father mainly he gets hate for but it does sell his fights. Matthysse has better wins and a couple of questionable decisions against him. Khan may have been comming off a lose with Peterson but the majority of ppl including my self gave the fight to Khan. It was a solid win for Garcia but IMO don't earn him currently the top spot at 140. If Garcia is successful with Judah his next fight should be against one of the top guys. If it isn't then he will deserve all the hate that he will get. Who did Matt's beat,that is a better win then Khan for Garcia?? But overall I agree with ya post,esp about Garcia stepping it up after Judah..
