latest interview from Garcia!
That's what I'm saying since I saw the Rigo-Marroquin fight!!
Donaire will most likely win by KO. As people have said, it's unlikely Rigo can avoid Donaires power over 12
Let's say Rigo is able to avoid Donaire's power for 12 rounds, whom do you see winning the decision or does Rigo get the KO/TKO?
Once again, I'll issue a challenge to anyone interested. (I think this is the third time, but still no takers.) I will bet all my points that Donaire does not KO Rigo. (Boxingscene trillionaires have to give me 3:1 odds.)
Gee, let's go ask Rigo's trainer and see who he thinks will win.
lol So obvious.
As I said before, I'd be much more interested in what a disinterested party has to say. Gary Russell Jr. picked Donaire, and he gave a nice, short breakdown why. I have no problem with it; even I favor Nonito. But Russell didn't say it was going to be "easy." You know why? Because it's not likely to be.
I agree. Donaire will be able to do everything that makes him comfortable. Control the distance, work off of his opponent. Really take his time. This one will probably be ugly entertainment wise even if fought at an extremely high level of boxing skill.
y
they can never counter me, they make threads talking about me left and right but wont debate anything I say cause they cant. I expose them for there bias views!
Cmon give them a break! They haven't got some success in boxing lately since Casamayor! I guess they have to wait for a long time to find a Great one in the Pros!
but the Cubans will say, the EX trainer just sour grapping!!
He didn't say he would lose, he just said it was a tough style match up and I agree.
Doesn't mean he can't win. If he does I think he will box for 12 rounds and really put on a display.
rigo get wobbled by nobodys left hook, imagine nonito landing a huge left hook, I dont see Rigo getting up I can see a montiel scenario all over again.
Agreed!
But where are the Cubans to counter you? I think u pissed them off!!
I did a show this weekend in Boca for some of my amateurs and I met Rigo's ex trainer.
We talked for a few and I asked him who he thinks will win and he told me "Off the record, it's a bad style match up for Rigo"
So that should tell you something. I don't think it will be easy but to stay away from that power for 12 rounds will be really tough for Rigo.

But people will just say his ex-trainer is salty or something.

He trains nonito what did you expect? the guy is absolutely nuts if he thinks that's accurate. And I hope that he truly feels that way
So how u think Rigo wins this? how he will attack donaire?
Like Robert says, he knows boxing, but that doesn't mean he's right. There are a lot of other people that know boxing who aren't quite as confident as he is about how "easy" it'll be for Nonito to beat Rigo. Every coach and representative tends to be very confident of their fighter. I think Garcia believes what he's saying, but he's also very biased. It's interesting to hear what Robert has to say, but I value the opinions of disinterested parties more. Nevertheless, good interview.
All nonito has to do is take away rigo's straight left! He can do this by using his quick feet then counter with straight right or lefthook/uppercut! I think this will be easy!
