The only fight IMO that qualifies as a robbery is Pwill vs Lara..I think the word robbery gets thrown around far to often..For heavens sake you have people claiming Matt vs Judah was a robbery which it clearly wasn't..
Disagree. IMO both Rios Abril and Bradley Pac were wider than PWill Lara. IIRC I had PWill winning 4 rounds outright (not by default, as in Pac Bradley when Pac started coasting). On average the press guys scored Pac Bradley 9-3, just a bit wider.
i saw a closer fight in the replay but i still had pacquiao winning. why are you fixated on fight night press row cards and popular opinion all of a sudden? correct me if i'm wrong but, weren't you one of the guys parading up and down the street with a slowmo replay of pac-marquez IV? :lol1:
No absolutely not, I never brought up any slomos. In fact I brought up Pac JMM 3 press row cards that show a much closer fight than is commonly "remembered".
As you saw from the link, less about 5% of the quoted experts saw a close fight, with about 1% having Bradley winning. So I'm not saying it's an impossible or a biased opinion, but clearly a far fringe one.
bradley took the first 2 rounds and he EASILY took the last 3 by outboxing pacquiao who was exhausted from punching air at that point. that's 5 rounds right there. i gave pacquiao the 2 close rounds that occurred during the mid rounds which ultimately won him the fight. the judges might've seen those close rounds differently hence why bradley has the W. it was a damn close fight and their scorecards reflected that. then again i'm probably one of only a few to rewatch the fight. it seems a lot of people who have pacquiao by shutout are going off on fight night emotions rather than plain objectivity.
You're in a very tiny minority with this view. Nothing more needs to be said
Why didn't you make that point in the threads about Rios Abril, or PWill Lara, or Chavez Whittaker? Some of us more experienced boxing observers recognize the fact that robberies happen in boxing.
Here's a link to the tremendously one sided press row cards. Notice the average is 117-111, which qualifies as wide:

On press row cards there were more 11-1 for Pac than 7-5 Pac + draw + Bradley win, combined. That says whitewash.

Can you please send me the link, or source, to where PAC beat Bradley by a wide decision.....Last I checked Bradley won a split decision vs PAC, so when did the rematch take place?
And don't tell me "we all know PAC really won" cuz that answer is no we don't, the fight was close and PAC didn't do anything overly impressive, coulda went either way but TB got the decision because of his body work in the late rounds.
But if you find that rematch of PAC winning a wide UD pls send it to me.......I'll wait!

Among the experts above, 121 scored the bout for Pacquiao, 1 scored the bout a draw, and 1 scored the bout for Bradley.

The vast majority of fans and experts alike had it a one sided win for Pacquiao and that includes Mayweather Sr. who is hardly a Pacquiao fan. If you thought it was a close fight I respect your opinion but I don't agree with you.
The poll I read after the fight showed only one boxing writer out of 37 asked thought Bradley won with the rest favoring Pacquiao. The fan poll showed about 19 out of 20 had Pacquiao the winner.
He's right though...that's what Manny gets! He thought he could finally get a victory over a 40 year old, blown up lightweight and got KTFO.
Exactly. LOL at those people, do you really think Pacquiao chose Marquez because he was more deserving? He chose him because he thought at 40 years of age he would finally get that KO win and the fighter of the decade belt to screw Floyd of his rightful dues. Evil doings BACKFIRE, allot. That's all she wrote.
:lol1: Timmy frontin'!!!...he know Marquez f*cked up another solid pay day for him by icing Pac...Bradley-Marquez would be good though
Marquez wants no part of that bro..Nacho is a smart man,if we ever see those two meet..It will not be very soon imo..
Which I gotta say,if Marquez is still fighting and not retired,I'm calling him out on..
I dont like Bradley but I dont think what he said was ridiculous at all its true Pacquiao should have fought Bradley again IMO he chose to fight JMM a fourth time which didn't disappoint me but obviously did Bradley and he had reason to be disappointed
Come on man! Pac doesnt lose on NSB. You areblind as a bat if you think Pac lost to Bradley and they will send links of how Pac was not winning but dominating JMM before he got put to sleep.
Floyd talks smack=cherry picking coward who needs to shut up
Broner talk smack=immature ghetto fighter who has no charisma and needs to shut his mouth
Bradley talk smack=who is this cunt kidding hes a loser who cant fight.
Rios talks smack=warrior who tells it like it is. Boxing needs more like him.
No mention of himmaking fun of disease though.
NSB the most biased site on earth.
Pretty much.

there are people who REFUSE to watch bradley-pacquiao again cause they've convinced themselves pacquiao won by wide UD. same people who wanted to convince the world that manny won by a landslide against marquez in the fourth fight if we had only watched the replay in slowmo. same fvcking people LOL!
I don't like Bradley, but for some reason I feel he'll be top 3 in the next 5 years of WW.
true...I feel the same...not a fan of his but I can see him in the mix at the top for a long time...the dude can fight...it seems like he carries a chip on his shoulders into the ring with him...I like that attitude of his....he's another dude who I feel as though is VERY good for the sport...hasn't made the news for anything non-boxing related yet...so props to him for being a stand up role model in these crazy times
fights aren't judged on the replay though. they are judged on the night of the fight.

the judges did a competent job that night and i'm not protesting their decision. the bluray super slowmo 3D HD stans can't have it both ways.

Sounds like something a guy who lost a wide decision to Pacquiao would say
