This is not an attack, so take a deep breath, fanboys. One thing that sticks out is that Rigondeaux's jaw is very small. I don't subscribe to the theory that a big chin necessarily equates to an iron jaw, but I can't imagine Rigo eating strong shots on such a small bone structure. In the amateurs, headgear would have protected the side jaw. And, he's clearly outclassed everyone he's fought in the pros, to the extent that his jaw has never been tested. So, what's your guess? Will he be able to take hard shorts (if anyone is slick enough to land flush)?

Rigondeaux has got to the most ugly guy in boxing next to Martirosyan & Andre Berto & Broner.
He has a weak chin literally & figuratively
I don't judge other mens looks either.

Mikey Garcia is funny looking as hell too. Rigo does look like "Starvin Marvin".

I don't think its that small its just he has high cheekbones that are very prominent that give it the impression its small.
I don't know, he has like a pitbull/staffie like head going on lol

When a fighter gets a bit shakey, or dropped by a fairly light punch from cordoba, then there is reason to suspect that when he faces one of the hardest hiyi g guys out there, he may very much get stopped. Imo Donaire didn't even respect arce, matheluba or narveaz. The fights Donaire trains extra for, he owns.

I dont think it's his jaw that's the problem as it's Donaires legitimate power... Chin or no chin, I think Donaires power transcends 122. Too big, too strong, too fast and too skilled for the come forward guys there. That said Rigo has power too and insane reflexes and timing. This will be very interesting. This will be like a mini heavyweight fight type tense atmosphere. Fight could be over after any punch. So hyped.

It's going to be a great fight, another intriguing angle is if you like gore, if Nonito connects to Rigo what he did to Montiel, I wont be surprised if they bring an ambulance into the ring so Rigo doesn't bleed to death.
doniare will take a knee in this fight.
Vazquez was hurt and almost out vs Oquendo and stopped vs Arce. Meanwhile he recovered fairly quickly vs Donaire. So your comparisons mean jack sh1t.
As far as the OP goes, I guess we'll find out April 13th.

I haven't seen this much hate between two fighters are their respective countries. I wont be surprised if this fight turns into what happened in Argentina not to long ago. The Filipino whipped that guys ass and all his fans were sore losers and couldn't handle the fact their hero lost and started coming into the ring and fight the Filipino and his trainers.
This implies Rigo has fans.

That means nothing.
