ok lets break this down and tell me if im wrong. Floyd stated Saturday night that he "will not put money in bob arums pockets" when asked if he saw pac vs. marquez 4. Now my question is, if he says he will not put money in arums pockets, why did he also mention that pac has to beat bradley and marquez 1st? Ina sense if he fights pac he's still puttin money in arums pockets right or wrong? Which to me can also be translated as "im not fighting pac ever or as long as hes under arum." So if his true intention is to NOT put money in arums pockets then his statement shoulda never been said about pac having to beat marquez and bradley 1st!! Or hes just bullsh1tting again as always and makin no sense when he talks. IDK if anyone else caught that but i sure did and laughed at him. This is why i say floyd needs to stfu and just fight his fights. Now, i know the flowm0 community is prolly gonna talk sh1t and i could careless to argue with anyone that speaks about anything irrelevant to this thread. Call me a hater or w.e u'd like but this is my translation of what he said and or meant.
manny just resigned with TR for 18 mos. If manny fights 2 fights, he will almost surely fullfill that contract. floyd's deal with SHowtime includes an out after the 1st fight. Perhaps floyd is simply keeping that fight out there because while most hardcore boxing fans have given up on the fight- the casual mainstream sports fan that ESPN caters to hasn't.
you bring up pretty good points
Floyd rarely manages to get through a single interview without contradicting himself.
"I bet you anything you're not black"
1 minute later
"You racial profiling now!"
this is true too but he didnt wanna split the PPV which to me some would go to arum as well. and even if it didnt im sure it would be co-promoted by top rank and TMT which also ina sense hes still puttin money in arums pocket. IDK im just tired of floyd and his circus and yes i know everyone has known this for a long time as have i. But he just makes it so obvious that hes an idiot when it comes to talking and making sense. He's smart when it comes to business/fighting tho so i cant knock'em for that lol

He offered Pac a $40 million flat fee. If Pac wants to give some of that to Arum so be it.

it wasn't quite the same. mine was just about his comments "i won't put money in TR's pockets".

Pac/Arum offered $50 million to Floyd. It's all his and Arum would take care of everything.

He seems to do a lot of back tracking. He needs to think about what he is saying and remember it lmao
he also gets stuck on stupid alot when he has no answer to a question and slowly strays away from even attempting an answer. i just figured i'd mention this as its still fresh on pplz minds.
Arum is just one of the hundreds of excuses Floyd mentions when he's asked about Paq. I suggest you people leave Floyd alone. Paqciao is Floyd's problem. He's too dangerous for Floyd. Doesn't matter what state Paq is in. Floyd would avoid a zombie Paq.

Man I'm not reading that cluttered mess.
everyone else seems to understand just fine...seems like u and that other guy r the only ones having an issue. any way carry on
Floyd just signed a big time contract while Pac is hoping for a 5 fight vs JMM to build name back up. That ship sailed long ago. Floyd moving forward and Pac moving back

floyd contradicts himself all the time. In this case I think the whole "gotta beat bradley and JMM" was just him taking hard jabs at manny. same as when he said I foguht cotto at the best weight not a catchweight.
if manny left TR the floyd/manny fight would be madet quicker than the cotto fight.
I got a similar thread going but that's Floyd. When DOESN'T he contradict himself? Especially when it comes to Pacmonster.
