I along with lots of casual mexican boxing fans I know have only bought mayweathers ppvs because of the high-profile mexican fighter incentive. Whether it was marquez, or watching Canelo debut on ppv and then follow that up with two more apperances on a Mayweather ppv. Heck I've talked to alot of Mexican fans who are waiting to simply to see if the Canelo vs Trout match is going to get made otherwise they'll go to a bar or simply stream it online.

It might sound racial but its true, nowadays when black fighters fight each other its boring. I don't know if its cause they're scared of each other or what but its just not as exciting as when a Hispanic is involved. Even mayweather can't sell without fighting a non black fighter, or having Canelo in the undercard. I remember Oscar DLH broke records fighting this French guy on HBO.
