I wouldn't even be mad at Ishe if he fought a few scrubs. Guy has been through it all he deserves a little run with the belt. Then he can lose it but get a payday in the process.
I would. That's why I wanted K9 to lose it in the first place. We don't need another titlist with bad matchmaking habits.
Rosado would have whooped K9, it was a stupid move for him to move up and fight Golovkin.
His momentum took a hit, but at least he got his name out there. Hopefully the loss won't set him back too far though.
I think Rosado would fight just about anyone, and Andrade is probably the most toughest opponent available. I think Rosado should try and get a fight with Kirkland/Rabchenko/Jonak first.

At least a few paydays. He should have held is own in the interview and broke down in the locker room but it is what it is. He seems like a good dude and he deserves some respect.
Anyone catch their weights for tonight?
I think Smith was 167 and Bundrage was 170
This fight blows. 0 skill... just wild sock em bop em swinging.
Bundrage is just awful. Thank God he doesn't have a belt anymore.
For one of the first times I can remember, I actually agree with Cortez. I feel guilty for doing so. What a cunt.
Except his God awful scoring in the Love/Finley fight. I don't think he gave one single round to Finley. :nonono:
Nah man, he fought harder punchers like Jacobs and Julio and wasn't even knocked down. Molina is not going to KO Smith.
Agreed. I'm not a big fan of Ishe's but he's actually a much better fighter then what you saw tonight. You know they say you fight to the level of your opponents sometimes. Bundrage is worse then awkward, he reminds me of how 12 year old girls would fight in Jr. Highschool - sortof like doing the 'windmill'. He's just terrible.... and dangerous because he does a lot of sketchy sh*t in the ring (and somehow gets away with most of it). I think Ishe was just leary of Bundrage's batsh*t crazy style. And Ishe usually has a pretty descent body attack. Those guys tonight were litterally just winging em.

Andrade is ranked #3. I wouldn't be surprised if you see Andrade vs. Rosado too.

Molina getting a strap would force guys to step to him. Rosado/Molina is a match-up I would like to see.

Ishe is now a legend in Las Vegas :lol1:
First ever Champ born in Vegas.
He should hold the belt hostage in Vegas against unranked bums and rack up 26 title defences.

I just think he was extra cautious because this was a title fight.
Yeah Molina couldn't even KO Spinks.
I think Molina wins a clear, ugly fight. But Molina winning a title will make the division real interesting. Lots of options.

agreed, cheif. the way they were winging shots later in the fight meant that it could have turned quickly. it wasn't an awful fight.
it's great to see ishe smith get some security in his life, too. this ensures at least one or two more sizable paydays. the guy was hardly fighting for a good while.
Completely agree NE mah homie. Both men were doing their best to win. Ishe was tentative, but with K9 one punch can change up the fight so I understand why he was. But he did throw caution to the wind and put it on the line, punching himself out twice in his efforts. This was a great night for Boxing, both fighters were gracious in victory and defeat.
I'd give major props to Molina if he got the stoppage, but it's clear that both guys just don't have that kinda pop.

I don't believe that would be as boring as you think. Molina would outclass and stop Ishe. Even with his lack of power I still predict the KO.

i can understand why he didnt go for Canelo, Trout's belts....
he seems mentally unstable though..first suicide thoughts and then crying like a kid..doesnt look good...one wonder what will happen if he loses his belt in his first defense..suicide watch needed...
The man just won a world title against all odds. Have a lil bit of class dude. :nonono:
Way to go Ishe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was not as boring a fight as some make it out to be. It got started slow, but had some very good moments, alot of ebb and flow. I had it 115/112 Smith.
I give alot of credit to Showtime for going on with the show and not scraping the card because of Alexander/Brook.
Thank you to both fighters for giving it their all. :boxing:
