Dana was not working with any fighters but he was always in Nevada Partners, Nevada Partners was a great place to be then because everybody in the fight game, connected to the fight game or wanted to be in the fight game was there. Old fighters and managers form the 50s, 60s to want to be and real gangsters, everybody was there. They even had rows of chairs around the sparring rings. And to top it off the gym was ran by the infamous referee Richard "Gray Area" Steel. There were some great wars fought in that gym
Man speaking of Gangsters, Dana White also said on the podcast that he remembers the time when Floyd's manager brought a gun or some type of weapon to the gym to strong arm someone, he said he never saw it but he remembers when it happened and people were talking bout it.
Was that James Prince who sent some goons to the gym? There seems to be some crazy stories, I remember Dana saying he was there to try to sign some boxers and get into boxing managing, he also was able to get Floyd jr to endorse his boxercise company on his shorts.
Dana seems to really love boxing.
Cool story by Dana White. Roger is the man.

He probably knows Floyd Sr. will go to death, just like him.

Crazy thing is Bonnar was roided to the brim too, he was taking alot of roids just to fight Anderson you can tell by all his muscle and red skin, he also outweigh Anderson by 30 pounds on fight night.
I thought Dana White was an aerobics instructor ? Why would he be working with those guys ?

I seen Roger get laid out by Chavez. Roger don't want it with el gran campeon.
of course, but i remember long time ago while i was in mexico in a special interview with chavez about his life and career he got asked who of his opponents hit him the hardest and if he was at some point in the vegre of being koed and he answered that roger hit him the hardest and that he was rattled and almost koed in his feet but it was at the end of a round and he kept his cool and roger didnt realized he was shaken, so the round ended and he got his legs back and ended up ****ing roger, dont know if it was the first fight where he koed roger or the second where he made him quit..

Exactly! And after all of the years i have known Rodger, Floyd sr is the ONLY man that will get that response from him
Maybe roger just respects his elders and older brother? Its strange though, but Jeff seems like the only normal one of the bunch, he doesn't slur his words and doesn't even seem like he is related other than having the same looks.
Yeah I noticed that too, Roger gets real quiet when Floyd sr. is around, and you never see them talking much or at all really when they are both in the gym, Floyd Sr. will talk and Roger will shy away and stay silent.

Roger doesn't say unnecessary ****? Lol. Get outta here. He only respects Chavez because he knows who his daddy is.
He does now but what did he say then? What was he saying before the fight?
He respected Chavez before and after he lost to him.
It's obvious that HW Tracy didn't know sht** about boxing. :lol1:
Is that what you think? It's called heart, I have seen 130lb fighters knock out guys that were over 200lbs.
That is what i thought too at first and as god is my witness it shocked me so much i stopped hitting the heavy bag to see what was really going on, so i whet to the other side of the gym where Rodger was and made a few jokes with no response at all from Rodger he was always looking to see where Floyd sr was, and the feeling that was coming from Rodger was PURE submission, like when someones father is mad and the son dose not want to do anything to draw attention on himself.

Yeah I remember that, but people seem to just give him a pass since he's addicted to crack.
Not really, black people in general seem to get a pass. Just like B-hop's quote on how a white guy will never beat him, he didn't receive much flak if it were the other way around (If Joe said it),
