Hagler is too big. Floyd could still make 140. Hearns is by far his hardest fight. Stylistly all wrong for Floyd. SRL and Duran would be a hell of fight. I say he could beeat Duran in his prime when he used his legs alot more. AKA a 'no mas' type of win.
To say that they all destory the best fighter of this era is a bit too fanboyish, hes gives them all a hell of fight. Maybe with the exception of Hagler due to size/southpaw.
Well said , I just rewatched Hagler Leonard , and have no doubt Floyd can hang with them , size is the issue not boxing ability , level the size and Floyd would give Marvin a boxing lesson .
Considering how Floyd is so carefull with who he chooses to fight..He would have avoided all 3 of these guys. Now if he were to have fought them he would of lost to all 3 Floyd's style of sitting in the pocket and throwing 1-2 punch combos works againts todays fighters, but Hagler/Hearns/Duran threw punches in combination.
- Hit man would of been PBF worst nightmare.
- Duran would get inside and work him out and possibly knock him out.
- Hagler was just to big and strong..Thats not even fair.
"those guys have losses"Thats because they fought in the best era. Ali had losses so going by you, any unbeaten heavyweight today must be better than Ali. Dumba$$.

TS must be LarryX's alt, no doubt about it. He took this out of the other thread about Floyd's inactivity. Hi Larry!

Thanks .... there is even proof.
Floyd said just prior to the Ortiz fight "I fight the best .... Manny you are next"
When asked about fighting Martinez at a CW. Floyd said "Martinez should fight Ward"
When asked to fight a relatively younger Mosley "No Mosley ... he doesn't bring in the money" ... but then was OK when Mosley was older.
When P. Williams wanted to fight him. Floyd never wanted to.
Now Floyd went from "Who is Guerrero?" to I'm sure he will say "Guerrero is the best and I fight the best" in a span of what, one year?
Lol! I know man, but you know how this site is flooded with newbies & fanboys that all they know is PAC Floyd they'll just defend their idols if you were to post that or anything negative about their heroes.
GREAT POST BRO! Specially the last part. Last boxing super start that I can remember being called the best because he fough the best was ODH. No catch wieght, fake vacation, ducking, excuses dude just fought them all. (I'm not even a big fan of Oscar btw)

Excellent post.
Excellent post. Just excellent. These new school fanboys are the real problem here on this site. They seem to think that Floyd is Superman when the guy clearly wants no part of challenging himself.
Excellent post!
I just gave you green K man. Excellent post. These idiots think Floyd is so great but hasclearly ducked his entire era. Here was my response to a guy who just said Floyd would beat Duran.
"Wait. Who on Floyd's resume gives you the impression that he would beat ANY version of Duran? Floyd is too inactive for Duran and would get beat up for 12 rounds. All that cute counter-punching wouldn't work against fighters like Chavez, Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Whitaker, a prime De La Hoya, Trinidad, etc. These guys threw punches for twelve rounds and would outpoint him if nothing else. You are giving him way too much credit here."
- Floyd would be taking many long long vacations.
- If Floyd would be using the same promoters, he would say, I wanted to fight them but my promoter refused.
- If Floyd would be using a different promoter, he would say, I can't come to agreements due to their promoter.
- Floyd would be asking for "ALL PPV money" ... lol!
At first, Floyd fans would be shocked when hearing Floyd's excuses but after a couple of weeks, they would defend him and blame everyone else.
If they actually fought, can anyone see Floyd going from one war to the next? That is what constitutes a real ATG. You actually need to fight the best not just say it then never do it!!!

Bullsh1t! Hearns was faster and hit twice as hard as guys who rocked Mayweather. He would NEVER be able to get inside the rapid piston jab of Hearns and lightning hand speed. Hearns would back him up, keep him on the end of his reach and lower the bomb. Mayweather would be crushed in less than 6 rounds. Leonard would stop Mayweather late. Leonard fought faster guys than Mayweather, Mayweather has NEVER seen the speed of a Leonard or Hearns. Duran of 1980 Montreal would have crowded Mayweather and handed him a brutal, slow beatdown. Mayweather didn't even fight his top rival, the 80's welterweights ALL fought each other. Mayweather would have had serious issues with Benitez who was almost as fast as Leonard. Mayweather BARELY beat and over-the-hill Oscar! Oscar in his PRIME was a solid level below the 80's Welterweights. Mayweather may have beaten Cuevas but if Cuevas landed as clean as Corely, Judah, and Mosley, it would have been lights out for Mayweather. Pippino broke eye sockets, jaws, ribs, etc. If one of those bodyparts got in the way of Cuevas's wrecking machine fists, forget about it. Cuevas in his prime was a much better version of Luis Castillo.
Yeah basically. Out of the four horsemen, Hearns ruins Mayweather the fastest. Very tall, very fast, very powerful. Fantastic jab and boxing skills. Mayweather wouldn't be able to do ****.
