Mickey Bey Jr. of Mayweather Promotions, trained by Mayweather Sr tests positive for extreme levels of testosterone.
BoxingScene reported that Mickey Bey tested positive for a highly elevated level of testosterone.
Bey's testosterone to epitestosterone ratio was greater than 30:1 -- Nevada rules allows for a maximum of 6:1.

Kizer said Bey's T/E ratio was the second-highest ever in Nevada history, with another fighter once having a ratio of more 60-1. Elevated testosterone suggests steroid usage.

Things to consider:
-He tested positive in Nevada which raised its ratio to 6:1 over the usual 4:1
-Was caught via NSAC standard test, and we know how useless these are. How jacked was he to test positive with NSAC?
-UFC's Alistair Overeem's T/E ratio when he was caught was 14:1
-UFC's Chael Sonnen's T/E ratio when he was caught was 16.9:1
disgraceful. nevada commission is a joke!
Looks like they're gonna go hard on Love, the newest drug cheat. At least that's what they're implying. They know people were outraged on the little slap on the wrist Bey received for having the highest recorded Test ratio ever recorded in Nevada history.
Nah they should, he was just trying to level the playing field like Lamont Pederson. Obviously he forgot to notify the commission or the testers of this fact but his doctors did certified that he really does need it....Ok? Maybe if they didn't test for the T-ratio then his level would have been low after another 4-5 months like Lamont Pederson and he was also the one who request testing just like Pederson... So knock it off guys..ok
The Nevada State Athletic Commission had a meeting today. Here's the minutes:

It says they requested a temporary suspension, so I guess he's suspended until further notice.
Well I hope it leads to something. It'd be really stupid to let him get away with having test levels that high DURING a fight.

Of course he should. A lot of guys should have.
Any new word on this?
Or since he's with Mayweather Promotions are they going to hide this one under the carpet like it never happened?

He should have listen to Floyd if your going to take the stuff do it during retirement than come back and point the finger at you opponent or just Pay Oscar a fee to toss your results in a dumpster
He's just not as sneaky as Floyd I guess.
Anyone caught using steroids should be banned for atleast a year if not for life IMO. Boxing is a serious sport where you can hurt someone and steriods give a person a real unfair advantage and put people at risk. This isnt baseball where someone might hit more homeruns because of steroids someone could get hurt badly and a strong message needs to be sent that it wont be tolerated
What do you think he's on though? Does HGH effect your T/E levels?
No, he is on synthetic testosterone. HGH is nearly undetectable, but it is basically always run in conjunction with testosterone. Testosterone is the base in all steroid cycles basically, you run Test and Deca or Test/Tren/EQ or something like that.

30:1 just about renders everything else irrelevant.
If you have test levels of 5x the accepted amount then it's fairly obvious what you're doing. Basic testing sucks beyond belief, but you don't even need that to ban someone for a 30:1 test ratio.
30:1 T-levels are impossible without banned substances though so it should amount to the same thing. You're kind of right though because the CIR testing done by USADA/VADA would show up the fact that the testosterone is synthetic, all the piss test does is show the ratio.
Indeed. I really hope he gets suspended. That would be a huge blow to the sport for this to go unpunished.
The issue is that he didn't test positive for any banned substances though. But I mean it's obvious he's on something. We also know how weak those NSAC tests are.

Nah, HGH is mainly used by athletes for recovery, it operates in a different manner.
This will have been a moron pumping himself full of some form of test, probably test e as that's in the system longer and is easily detected.
Testing positive should see you banned, in my eyes for at least 2 years. I'd have no issue with proven cheats being banned permanently.
