like I said a couple years back, I can see this in 2 years. I can also see Mayweather retiring and fighting him in a comeback fight. This fight will be HUGE as long as Broner keeps fighting and winning. A 140lb fight vs a top guy and a win will have people talking about this super fight.
This isn't worth fantasizing about yet. Broner still has a lot to prove against quality opposition to be talking about this fight. There is some tough opposition at 140 and 147 that he'll have to get through before this fight is even a thought.
I could see this happening in 2015. I know Floyd said 2014 would be his last year, at age 37, but we've seen way way way too many guys fight past their expected age.
I could see Floyd retiring in 2014, than coming back in May or September 2015 and fighting Broner, IF Broner keeps winning and rising in weight.
Apparently Floyd Mayweather is magic. The man just doesn't age. :wtf1:
In 2 years from now, Floyd would still be younger than the inactive Mosley that fought Floyd at almost 39.
For Floyd, it must be magic. For Mosley, he wasn't old. Right? lol!

Yea sure by that time Canelo won't be an under card fighter to prop up Floyds PPV's vs a Black fighter
Lol "getting tagged" and Danny Garcia went to war with morales but I guess Garcia is garbage too huh
Morales is at least 10x better than Gavin Rees. He was old and shot, and still was a much better opponent than Rees.
Boy if they fight Broner is lucky as hell it is not the Floyd from 2006,2007.. Floyd lost his legs so the fight would be good.
2006,2007 Floyd would ice Broner easily. Too good. Too quick. Amazing punch selection. Impeccable defense. Floyd in two years time would be right for the picking though especially if Broner continues to improve. Best to keep this fight as a fantasy fight.

Never say never guys. I could see it potentially happening, but would really advise against it for Mayweather if and only if he slips considerably over the next year or so and Broner grows into a monster. If Broner clears the 140 division's best, then moves up to 147 and wrecks shop by then Floyd would be retired(hopefully), but the comparisons would rise to a fever pitch and that money could entice him to come back. By then, Broner would whoop Floyd.
But that's a big if, like I said. Broner has some formidable opposition ahead of himself up 'til 147. Gamboa, Matthyse, Garcia, Khan, Bradley, Alexander, Brook, etc. If he manages to get by the tough ones, he's clearly elite and poses a serious threat to Mayweather at the tail end of his career.
