The hate for Rigondeaux is laughable

What did you find boring exactly? The fact he didn't plod forward blocking punches with his face and nearly get his eye taken out? Masterful performance if you ask me. He made Donaire look the amateur! I found the whole fight boring. Everything about it. And yes, I do like to watch two bums knock hell out of each other. I don't appreciate boring fights no matter how highly skilled the boxers are. Rigo and Donaire don't get a pass for putting on one of the worst big fights I have seen in recent memory.

Dan_cov, make a thread of your own and tell those dumb ****s that they were completely wrong. Guys like Pacdbest, Angelo and ElBossHogg once again prove they don't know anything else about boxing other than the fighter they support. Rigo was a Jedi in that ring - used the Force and basically made did whatever the hell he wanted to. Masterful performance.

Incredible footwork, a brilliant boxing mind, crisp counter punching, razor sharp reflexes and the audacity to goad a devastating puncher and proceed to make him look foolish. Rigondeaux is a true boxing genius. For those that can't appreciate that, you need to open your eyes to the fact that this is a sport and Rigo showed what "boxing" is all about.

WTF was he watching? I saw a clinic, i loved every second of that fight. Also Donaire is still a very good fighter, but he got outboxed. That happens when you don't jab. He needed to jab Rigo to freeze him then follow with the right hand and left hook.

Also, if he can make the weight then there is no problem with that. This is correct. Concepcion weighed 4 lbs. over the 115 limit and didn't even try to cut the weight. Donaire boiled himself down to the 115 limit. On fight night, Concepcion was damn near a lightweight. He didn't have to punish his body to lose weight and he rehydrated pretty high. There was also the fact that since Concepcion weighed so much over the limit, bigger gloves were supposed to be used, 10 oz. instead of the regular 8 oz. I believe. Concepcion refused to use the 10 oz. gloves and threatened to withdraw from the fight completely if they changed glove sizes. Nonito didn't want to disappoint the fans, so Nonito went on with the fight anyway like a true warrior, even with this classless b!tch Concepcion trying to get every unfair advantage he could. And still Donaire beat him pretty handily.

Donaire only has a Left hook? He knocked down or knocked out guys with his straight right and uppercuts as well. The left hook is Nonito's flashiest punch but his other punches are just as strong. These guys are just as big as Nonito except for Montiel even though he outweighed Donaire by 5-6 pounds during fight night. Mathebula clearly dwarfed Donaire. They aren't though are they and Mathebula is built like a damn twig. He is officially anorexic. The only guys near his size was Nishioka, Montiel and Mathebula had a height and reach advantage. I don't pay no attention to what HBO puts out, it was only a few weeks ago they tried convincing me Lucas was 163lbs
