There was recently a big crackdown on TRT and HGH clinics in South Florida and there's a big catch. Tons of MLB players and Gamboa have been tied to the clinic. Not looking good for Gamboa right now. And for my Yankee fans, lol @ AROD still juicing and sucking. Pathetic POS.
Or consider Yuriorkis Gamboa, a rising boxing star who won a gold medal for Cuba in the 2004 Athens Olympics before defecting to Miami two years later. Gamboa has compiled a 22-0 record and has won WBA and IBF featherweight titles since coming to the States.
In the 2009 notebook, Bosch outlines an extensive program he was shipping to Gamboa. In addition to protein powders and calcium/magnesium/zinc compounds, he included a six-day-a-week HGH regime, IGF-1, and a cream with 20 percent testosterone.
What's more, Bosch even notes that Gamboa's next bout is scheduled against Brandon Rios the following April and writes, "Start clean-up Dec. 1" — presumably giving the boxer enough time to pass doping tests. (The fight against Rios was later canceled, but Gamboa won two other fights by TKO and KO that January and February.)

Manny was and is still on juice IMO. You cannot just jump three weight classes and literally not lose speed or power and not put on ANY BODY FAT. What he did was not natural, and I'm talking about from a exercise science standpoint. I have no doubts.
It took YEARS for Mayweather to fill into 147 and he's still small. Manny literally jumped three weight classes and has put on little to no body fat. Not possible for someone natural.
I'll give you just one example.. Jimmy McLaren, who had those 3 classic fights with Barney Ross. Started as a kid at flyweight, like Pacquiao did, and went through all the weights until welterweight, where he was a solid 147 lbs at 5'5" tall. He jumped REAL weight divisions, like from 135 to 147. If he was over one weight he'd compete in the next, higest. All the fighters of those days did it. There were no steroids then, but they had same-day weigh-ins. So the fighter you got to see was near his weigh-in weight, not like today where you see a supposed 135 lber coming into the ring at 150lbs.
Young Stribling fought all the way from flyweight up to a heavyweight title shot.
How can you be juicing and still duck fighters like Rios?
but anyway if he was on PED's I wouldn't be surprised.. it seems like most big named successful boxers are using them, or are suspected of using them. Pacquiao, Mayweather, Berto, Peterson, Morales, Nonito, Ward, Tarver etc
I wouldn't be surprised if they're all juicing
Don't forget to add Hopkins and Holyfield.
Well well. Let's see if Gamboa can go around blasting out opponents as easily as before when he's off the sh1t. The cyclone will become the dusting when he get's reduced to legit form.
So if he continues to blast people out, he is juicing, and if he doesn't, he was juicing? lol

Ray Lewis wasn't on peds u deluded Morons.
He ate some deer antlers.
They said he tried to acquire some "deer antler velvet extract spray" which has a banned substance that helps you speed up the recovery process. They said Sports Illustrated has him on tape asking for products to speed his recovery.
Ya you know more than my uncle who worked with Lewis and cooper.
Ya you know more than my cousins who worked with Mercer and Rahman.
Ya... you sure do.
It's easy to tell who's on peds and who isn't..
Just because most of you non educated non PED Specialist keyboard warriors cant tell.. dont be accusing everyone.
"Ya", I just might know some things they don't. And what do your peeps know about PEDs in the NFL? Did their experiences working with those guys give them insight into everyone else's regimen? I'm not an expert on PEDs, or any sport in particular, but I know enough about them to make certain remarks.
As for the bold, I don't know if it's a serious statement, or more sarcasm. Since the preceding remarks were sarcastic, I'll presume this one is also. So, no, it's not "easy" to tell who's on PEDs. But there are various indicators that can make a reasonable, educated person suspicious.
Now ESPN is reporting Ray Lewis might have taken PED's, dear baby Jesus, who's not juicing.
Bro, if PEDs are big in boxing, imagine the NFL. Everyone looks like a bodybuilder nowadays. Today's football players are much bigger, faster, stronger and cut than they were even thirty years ago. Human evolution just doesn't work that fast. Big surprise that a monster like Ray Lewis "might've" juiced. Most fans are in complete denial.

I am very skeptical of this report myself. Especially the Gamboa part... And I'm not trying to defend Gamboa either. Cause I said to me he's guilty till proven otherwise.

Somewhere Bob Arum is smiling.
I don't think so. I don't think he or anyone would be happy about an event that taints the sport they love or make money from. Also, I think Top Rank has a strong interest in continuing to conduct business with Gamboa. If anyone's smiling, I'd wager it's De La Hoya after he and 50 had their little twitter battle. But again, it's not a good look for the sport as a whole.
jmm...........
What's so questionable about a 39 year old man, whose been unable to even knock down his solid-chinned nemesis in three previous encounters, doing it twice in one fight, the second time for good? I don't see anything suspicious there.

No, go ahead thats what a forum is for. I just dont understand why you would justify such things. If this was a fighter you didnt like, you wouldnt take the same stance, you'd be sh1tting on him like you should
You're making a huge assumption there, buddy.
I've been a baseball fan as long as I've been a boxing fan. Baseball has been the poster-boy sport for steroids for many years. Boxing, ironically enough, has only recently come under the microscope. I've been musing for years that maybe they should just legalize all banned substances and level the playing field. Testing doesn't work. A few token scapegoats are tossed out there for media consumption, while the vast majority of abusers get away and continue to be viewed as "sportsmen."
When the first steroid cheats where outed in baseball, I felt a level of outrage. But once it became clear that it's practically the norm, not just in baseball, but in all professional sports, my stance softened towards the abusers. The last I checked, that included all abusers, not just Cubans.
Exactly. But instead we have guys who roid getting passes. Berto gets a shot at a top fighter and a million dollars 6 months after getting caught with roids. People are very accepting of it now. And nothing will probably happen to Gamboa either
Whats the worst that can happen when you roid in boxing? 6 months suspension? Most guys fight every 6 months anyway. Steroids are accepted in boxing
Best post in thread.
And because I've voiced some manner of support for these guys means I'm wrong? Your opinion outweighs mine? Get real.

No one saying that, but it's the 'they're all doing it' mentality that breeds more cheats, it attempts to justify wrongdoing and creates a culture of acceptance amongst certain fans.
It's not acceptable, not in any sport and especially not in boxing where human health, livelihoods and even lives themselves are on the line.
If we don't ostracise the cheats, the sport never gets cleaned up and if that's the case it's not a real sport and we may as well watch WWE.
