I'd like to introduce you to Argentinian prospect Brian Carlos Castano (2-0, 2). Castano, a former stand out amateur who turned professional last year. Castano stands out as a prospect for me due to his desire to really beat the drum, he's got a very determined body attack and is likely to maintain his work there even after a few rounds.
He fights tonight and should, fingers crossed, be featured on the TYC Sports broadcast, if he is I'd advise people to either tune in an see him, or try and hunt the fight down on youtube over the coming week.
Anyone a little bit more info on him, and a clip of his vicious body attack can be found here:

Brian Castaño fought yesterday for the World Series of Boxing. He won by UD a really tough fight against the ukranian Sergiy DEREVYANCHENKO who fights for Kazakhstan.
Can fighters really fight pro 1 month and WSB the next?
I think his BROTHER is part of the WBS...
No, it was Brian Castaño. In WBS there are professional boxers too but i think they can't have more than six pro fights or something like that. And Castaño has only 3.
Castaño's fight starts at 1:08:00
Castaño is fighting in a few minutes for the World Series of Boxing... tyc sports (argentine channel)
Edit: TKO, the argelian boxer quit before the 3rd round started.

Damn that kid looks fantastic for such a novice, some awesome body shots being shown in the clip on the profile. Sure he looks a little raw but very exciting. He needs to stick at 147 or even get down to 140 though as Veron looked massive compared to him.
For me Linares is still one of the most attractive to watch fighters on the planet. The way he puts punches together is just beautiful.
Jorge always made offense look so effortless it really was a thing of beauty. Shame his power never really carried up or he'd have genuinely been a special fighter.
Wow he looks good. Reminds me of Jorge Linares' early fights. He was another hard hitting prospect who fought like a patient veteran. I hope Castano does a better job fulfilling his potential.

I remember being in a weird state of man love with a young Linares. He had everything a fighter could want at 126, was young, good looking, talented and had that "it" factor. Real shame he failed to live up to expectation, though he was a 2-weight world champion at a very young age and if Castano can become a 2-weight champion I'd not complain.

Rounds 5 and 6 from the Roldan fight (I think volleyball overran or something). Castano made Roldan look really wild

Wow that win has jumped him in to the top 250 on Boxrec, pretty damned impressive for a guy with just 3 fights. Hopefully they don't rush him too much to a national title level though as the Argentinian national scene isn't weak at 154 or 147
Don't use boxrecs ratings too seriously, they have Errol Spence in a similar posoition despite Spence never having faced anyone of Roldan's level.
!!!SPOILERS!!!
Castano took a 6 round Unanimous decision against Roldan. Not sure on the scores but Castano seemed to take a round or two off. When he put his foot on the gas he was landing at will to the head or body. Also he showed some very nice movement and foot work.
