When are they going to match him up with someone his own size? I'm yet to see him win a battle of jabs or beat someone as big as himself, he's normally just beating on small guys.
Lets be fair, there isn't a lot of people who are 6'8+ and even fewer who would make a reasonable match up. He could, I guess, tempt Tye Fields out of retirement, or beat up Julius Long just to prove a point.
The Price fight ain't happening any time soon, he's not ready for a Klitschko, a Ustinov fight might make sense I guess though like a fight with Dimitrenko, Fury would be slated for facing guys who lost last time out. Wilder would be interesting on paper, but as soon as Wilder was stopped we'd hear everyone saying "Well Wilder hadn't faced anyone".
Cunningham doesn't have the punch for the job, or the size.
Fury isn't so cumbersome that he will lose a decision by getting fly-swatted. He'll probably just walk right through him and beat him in ugly fashion if keeping Cunningham on the end of his jab wont work which it probably will.
Can't possibly imagine Cunningham can deal with the size and strength of Fury. Can't see, how he can win.
Would be a big upset for me.
Cunningham is a great litmus test for Fury and one I think he'll pass. Cunningham is the most athletic guy with out a doubt but he's not going to be able to get Fury's respect and he'll also struggle to get beyond the Fury jab (which despite his size is very fast).
For the guy saying that Cunningham will lose just because of his size, I think you're over simplifying things a tiny bit and have also forgotten the vast age difference as well as the "ring age" difference. Fury has only really had 1 genuinely tough bout (don't mention him being dropped by Neven Pajik, it was the first McDermott fight) whilst Cunningham has made a career from having hard fights. Those wars with the likes of Hernandez, Adamek (the first fight anyway), Huck and Ross at world level will take a lot of miles and add them to your clock.
At 36 and with the physical disadvantages and the wear and tear I'll certainly be backing Fury.
Lol so you pick cunninham but then cover yourself in case he loses, brave man.
Fury will stop this guy inside 8 rounds, he can run but he can't hide
I said the truth.....only way Cunningham loses to this guy is the size, which could very well happen. Good fight.
I like Cunningham by a competitive decision.
