Floyd and his fans need to stop deludding themselves with draining Sergio down to 154, and Floyd should fight Sergio at 160, coming in about 156 for the fight. Floyd likes to pass himself off as the best fighter, yet wont do anything special that no other boxer could or would try to do? Reality is FLoyd does less than his peers, fights less, less often etc etc, so when he does eventually fight people expect more from Floyd, rather than fight the Guerros of this world. I can pick 5 other fighters off the top of my head who would beat Guerro, and these fighters also fight more than FLoyd. So floyd fighting and beating Guerrero isnt good enough for a years work.

I have absolutely no problem with Floyd fighting Sergio Martinez at 154, but sometimes I think people who hate Floyd so much are a little disconnected from reality (no disrepect intended). My thing is this: Considering that Sergio is 38 years old already, and has been fighting at MW for a few years now, there is nothing in me that truly believes that Sergio can make 154 comfortably without killing himself. I can totally see Floyd beating Sergio 154, then getting absolutely no credit for it. I wouldn't "hate" Floyd if he would take a fight where the outcome didn't seem predetermined. That would be only against an opponent who seemed to have some advantage over him such as size. Sugar Ray Leonard took on those challenges when he fought, Ayub Kalule, Marvin Hagler and Donny Lalonde. All of them had size advantages. Lalonde was a light-heavyweight. That is what someone who thinks he is a great as Mayweather claims he is, should do. But no, Mayweather will only fight someone who is naturally smaller. Pacquiao is smaller and he still wouldn't fight him. He takes the easier road. The Mayweather-Guerrero fight is not that great of a fight. Probably, It will go the distance and the judges will award the decision to Mayweather, without too much damage done to either party. (Yawn).

because he's significantly smaller than anyone @ 154 and is not a 154 lb figher. They want him at a handicap. True, people think he should fight great people at 154, thats the trade off, for taking it easy all these years, and having anti climatic comeback fights.
