I stated in another thread,and this was from several credible boxing writers that the hold up is Canelo will only fight Trout if he still gets Mayweather in sept even if Trout wins Obviously this **** won't fly so they are trying to get Canelo to agree to the winners of the May 4th card fighting and that is the hold up I'd Trout beats Canelo there is no chance Mayweather would get away with fighting the loser So word is they are basically trying to get Canelo to agree

When Mayweather's fights are announced, you would never have to question if it has been announced yet.

You really think he's fighting Canelo in September? Floyd hates when other fighters make huge amounts money off his name. I bet he will demand a very high share of the purse to fight Canelo because you have an unproven fighter who hasn't beaten anyone getting a record payday off his name. The date is supposed to be May 4th. We're halfway through January. Training camp is 2 months. That's all of March and April. Floyd always says it takes 6 months to promote a fight.
