Person or organization involved in Boxing (Promotional Company, News Source, Trainers, etc). List just one or as many as you want. PLEASE, no boxers. Here’s my list:
1. Dan Rafael (ESPN) @danrafaelespn and @ESPNBoxing
2. FightNights.com @boxing (they actually got username rights for “boxing”. I’m jealous!).
3. Steve Farhood @SteveFarhood
4. Al Bernstein @AlBernstein
5. Boxing Scene @boxingscene (This should keep me out of trouble in this forum - LOL)
6. Steve Kim @stevemaxboxing
7. Oscar De La Hoya @OscarDeLaHoya and @GoldenBoyBoxing
8. Kieran Mulvaney @kieranmulvaney
9. Todd duBoef/Top Rank @ToddDuboef
10 Paco Rivera (GAR1680 Boxing Talk) @GAR1680 (ha-ha, you know I gotta throw myself in there).
Not good to follow:
Bob Arum - Not active. Rarely ever tweets anything to his followers.
Kevin Iole - Tweets a lot, but rarely ever about boxing.
Andre S.O.G. Ward....he's humble.....
Ward isn't a boxer? I know he's pretty inactive at times and sometimes looks like he's competing in MMA in his fights but he's still a boxer.
I know someone great to follow......
and she's a bird........
Ask nicely and i shall divulge thy some great knowledge of a rather spiffing wench indeed.....
Don Jose Sulaiman :P -----@JoseSulaiman
Eduardo Lamazon ----- @lamazon_oficial

Don't use it. It's basically a way for people to live vicariously through people they watch imo. I don't give a **** if someone tweets where they are going or what's going on. If I care I'll get updated by my friends or by media sites.
I enjoy seeing Steve Bunce being put in his place by Boxers and fans alike. Just today Tony Bellew was calling him out on only interviewing Nathan Cleverly about a rematch between the two.
BoxingScene's writers:

Nice list. I just added (Followed) several of them.
As a general rule, I only follow reporters on Twitter if most of their tweets is boxing related.
I do follow almost every active boxer, regardless what they are tweeting about.
In answer to some of the questions that appeared here about Twitter and Facebook:
To me, Facebook is designed more for interacting with personal friends and dear family members. It’s not really made for people in the boxing world to share their lives with you. The “Feed” you get when you open Facebook is similar to Twitter, but on FB you only get feeds from “Friends” that accepted your request to add them. So how do you see, for instance, feeds from Floyd Mayweather Jr. on Facebook? You have to send him a request and he has to add you. Not likely.
On Twitter you can add him to your feed (by “following” him) without his approval and see his tweets in your feed. So you have a constant glimpse into the life of the person (or organization) you are “following” as they describe in their tweets what they are doing “at this moment”, often with pictures or a video link attached.
I know there are Facebook “Pages” that you can subscribe to, but I don’t think every boxer and others in boxing has a “Page”, and even if they do, I don’t think it’s updated with comments as often as Twitter.

you have an avi but aside from that the profile is real small compared to fb its just like constant status updates kinda and you can @ people to have convos with them but everyone that follows you can see everything you post even to other people
Good looking out, so you can't personal message people?
F it, I'm getting a twitter today, probably gonna follow all the people being posted here.
As a newbie to twitter, is it anyway like facebook? Do you upload pics of yourself and what not?

Honestly, these days I don’t know how anyone can be a huge boxing fan and follow boxing closely without having Twitter. On Twitter you are getting a continuous flow of information from the people directly involved in the sport. Boxers, boxing writers, trainers, promotional companies, boxing TV networks, and others. Sometimes getting bits of information that you normally don’t see anywhere else. For instance…
Several weeks ago I was watching the undercard for the Khan-Molina fight on TV and a tweet came across on Twitter from Khan saying: “Just left the hotel. Headed to the arena now.”
I don’t know why…but I found that so cool.
i definately have to agree twitter is one of the major ways i kept up with boxing previous to using this forum and also you get a chance to talk to some fighters and trainers which is cool for someone like me who doesnt have access to them by going to fights or press conferences i think you already posted all the major people i follow on there i can think of
I don't have twitter, seems dumb
