Just like the structures of African Blacks are actaully different than the structures of certain American blacks who have more mixed blood in them.
africa is a very diverse continent, you'll find multiple phenotypes there

not 100% true
TK; I retired in 1988 as a trainer but was hired to work corners for promoters, matchmakers and managers from 1968 to 1991, in 91' I didn't want to travel anymore.
For cuts I originally used adrenalin 100 then years later mixed adrenalin 1,000 with it, then we started using Avateen around 1983 I think!!
Alliano was the main man in Atlantic City and after a number of years basicly just worked there! We did all the early ESPN shows at the Totowa Ice Palace (dump, freeze your azz off) HA!! Thats when Bernstein could talk without loosing his breath and the best show was Duva going nuts in the dressing room over some meaningless crap!!! Good times!! Ray.
Very nice Ray. I thought you were a fake account pretending to be the real deal. However, over time, I realised you had a lot of knowledge. It's nice to have real people who lived boxing like yourself. I am surprised you haven't left because there are so many trolls on here that try to get a reaction.
How do you find boxing compared to the old days?

I have never once tried to be 'funny' on here or on ESB.
I speak only the truth. And if Klittards like you can't accept the truth.

I'm sorry that I offended you by speaking the truth.
FACT:
Lewis hit Tommy Morrison and cut him in the same area as he hit Tyson and Vitali
FACT:
Lewis caused cuts via punches against Morrison,Tyson and Vitali.
FACT:
Vitali is the ONLY one who's face fell apart and started gushing blood like some hooker on her period.
Logical Conclusion:
Vitali's skin is weaker than Morrison and Tyson's.
Whatever happened with that broad you used to finger and you were going to build a shed in your grandma's back yard and move in together?
I know you got some crazy stories about your dating life, lets hear them.
D-mize ; has a good article to read if your REALLY interested in this topic!
My cornerman cutman training came from Eddie Alliano one of the very best cutmen ever! Eddie always looked at and handled the face of a fighter he was going to work with so he had a reference to what might possibly happen.
Structure is the first indication if a fighter might cut, if the bones have an "edge" to them as opposed to feeling more rounded than theres a indication that swelling and cuts can happen.
I don't know if the differences between dark complected men includes skin thickness but I must admit that I've dealt with many more whites than browns and blacks that cut and bruised!!!
As far as handling the flow of blood I notice no difference as to clotting in regards to races!! ...............all the blood was RED, bones are white!! Ray.
Are you still active now? Who do you work with.
The article states differnce in skin but not for cuts etc...

Hahahahah
"Klittards like you".
I meant the tirade about Lewis killing American heavyweights.
Again, you were funny for a little bit.
Just, the same thing over and over gets old.
I think the reason why people don't really notice darkskin black fighters when they get cut is cause you can barely even see it, as opposed to a white fighter who has pale skin you will see the blood on the skin and the cut very well.
But a lot of black people like to brag about having thicker skin than white people, I remember some black guy was telling me man we black we don't crack that's why you never see us get cut up like you white boys.
It seems that darker skin people tend to age better, my friend who is only 27 and he is white looks about 40 or more, his skin is all wrinkled, and leathery and he has crows feet, and he spends the same amount of time in the sun as the black construction co-workers and those guys still have no wrinkles, one of the black guys he works with is 45 years old and he has no wrinkles.
Was reading about George Grove. He is very white and cuts every fight. What do you guys think?
no,because other people with white skin such as sergio martinez and other fighters do not cut easily
Something very very interesting for you folks.
LENNOX LEWIS hit 4 boxers in the exact same AREA of the face:
Mike Tyson
Vitali Klitschko
Tommy Morrison
Frank Bruno
he aims for that area on top of the eye.. It's one of his specailities.
Out of the four.
ONLY Vitali's face literally started falling apart.
Morrison's skin is even more pale and he did start bleeding but no where near Vitali status.
Tyson's cut was probably 2nd worst.
I think Vitali got a paper skin and it's just due to his own failures and inability to take care of his face via proper wash.
Dirty bastard.
You were funny for a minute.
It's getting slightly annoying now though.
previous scars matter too.
Think of guys like chavez, arce and vasquez, they had so much scar tissue they would open up again very easily in their later fights and bleed like hell. vasquez -r marquez 4 was pretty nasty and sad to see.
I remember Henry Cooper, a white fighter who was regularly stopped on cuts, say if he'd had the rounded features of a Negro fighter he'd have been world champion. I think it varies between fighters, but some Europeans do cut up and Cooper was defo one.
Was reading about George Grove. He is very white and cuts every fight. What do you guys think?
It's not really about skin colour, but different demographics have different facial features, like British and Irish people have sharper facial bones than say Mediterranean people so they cut up easier. Same as Puerto Rican's. Many Black guys from America are not very susceptible to cuts but if you look at some fighters from Africa cut up a lot.. When it all comes down to it everybody's different so it could change from one person to the next
Assuming they migrated out of africa. It is documented that man migrated out of the middle east. South into africa, north into eurasia and east into asia.
As for the OP......
White skin shows cuts and blood more. Also, there is a skin disease some refer to as keloid skin, it causes hyper platelet activity around the most minor of cuts. Most black people carry this disease although it is not as evident in most. Some black ppl scar from the smallest of abrasions and form disgusting scabs over large sections of their face from something as small as a shaving cut.
I'm afraid you are confusing the evolution of the human species with the spread of civilization, my friend.
Also, you are talking about sickle cell anemia. It is a genetic mutation. It isn't carried by most blacks. It is carried by a higher proportion compared to other populations.
i believe you are right. i think they said that in the broadcast.
If true that's pretty remarkable! But as people mentioned, structure is probably the most important facet when deal with cuts. High, pronounced cheekbones and pronounced eyebrows on a fighter, generally means they will probably be able to cut easy. Look at Ricky Hatton, gets cut basically every fight.
