I think most of you are a bit blinded atm actually but now that team Rigondeaux has come out and said they are not working with Nemo or whatever he calls himself and said the drug testing is no issue like a boss.
What will Donaires next excuse/clause be?
I think the next step is Bob Arum receiving the blame for the fight not going ahead or will Donaire go back to saying he hasn't fought anyone?
Rigo ain't losing no sleep over him.
All making up he said this and that, all the Pacquaio fans slowly jumping ship. Predicted that ages back.
NoRigo Conaire...Sign the contract big boy, sign the contract!

I don't care for Caballero, Mathebula or Jason Litzau or how many world titles they've won.
Mathebula might just be the worst world champion of the last decade. Hardly anybody even knew who the fcuk he was when Mathebula vs Donaire was announced. It was a joke of a fight but because he exposed Donaire now hes a godsend?
You go on about Mathebula beating a pretty damn shot Cabellero like it means something. Did you see what Corboda did to a prime Cab when Cab was at his best? The same Corboda that Rigo gave a boxing lesson too in only like his 7th pro fight.
You're naming these guys who have beaten somebody or arguably beat somebody that was well passed their best like it means something then you're sh1tting on Rigondeaux's opposition? Rigondeaux's done more in 11 fights than Mathebula did in his farce of an amateur career and pro career combined.
Concepcion was 4.5lbs overweight for 115 fight, that's about 1.5 divisions. Most guys would not proceed with the fight.
Mathebula probably beats every Rigo pro opponent so far, definitely Marroquin who lost to a rank journeyman on telefutura recently. He beat the last 122er that was featured in ring top 10 p4p prior to Donaire, Caballero
Mathebula does no such thing. Corboda probably stops him as well as Marroquinn, I'd even give Ramos a good shot of beating him. Whatever the outcome those fights would be far from easy.
Apart from a win over a half-decent, Ndlovu at the tail end of his career hes lost everytime hes stepped up. He has several losses & draws too absolute nobodies. Lets not go on like he has ever been or ever will be a world class fighter.
His footwork is the absolute worse I've ever seen in a pro boxing ring & hes only got as far as he has due to him being so lanky & a load of hometown gifts.
no , there's a power diffence between moreno and rigo but i do think mares still outworks rigo to a decision
Because of that power difference, I believe Mares thinks more than twice about keeping the pressure at the same level when he fought Moreno. Rigo by shutout or TKO.
5 foot Narvaez went 12 rounds with Donaire without going down. He used really good defense, which is what Rigondeaux has a lot of plus better power and he's bigger. Worst case is Rigo goes down once.
thats coz he went on survival mode.. rigo can do the same but he aint gonna win any round..

On what basis is that a worst case scenario?
Considering he's been hurt by less powerful fighters and Donaire will be by far the hardest puncher he'll have faced by a vast vast margin.
Worst case is he get's knocked out.
what has mathebula done?was anyone talking about him before the nonito fight? i personally dont have a problem with any of donaires opponents at 122 except for maybe arce
He beat Ndlovu in the fight before Donaire, who is and was top ranked fighter at 122. Close fight, both fights were close fights. But beating Ndlovu made him a legitmate Champion at the weight. As legitimate as Rigondeaux is a Champion.
He was very competitive with Cabellero a few fights prior.
Mathebula's resume is as good as Rigondeaux's, at the very least.
"Cristian Mijares earned his shot".
bussiness wise , he's in ..wont be surprised if nonito fights him at the end of the year as long as miajres keeps on winning and the mares and rigo fight happens..
it aint as bad as floyd fighting once a year againts a lw and an old past prime inactive fighter..
Against who?
Any way, the pull out technique is not only good in bed but also good in boxing. Boxers pull out of fights to get better fights all the time,
Enrique Bernach (20-4 11KOs) on Feb 9
True.... Anything is possible.... I just doubt it
Thankfully Mijares has a fight lined up..... So hes out

i think donair will KO rigo also, no way n hell u can go 12 rounds wit that dude n not get caught, but i can be wrong

Hes the highest rated non GB fighter their is..... Who would you like Rigo to fight if they do keep their plan of fighting in Feb and Donaire in June???
i don't care who he fights im not complaining

Mathebula is being touted as a bum. Why is that? I don't understand.
Have the people on here honestly seen his fights? It's clear to see who's a good fighter.
I think a fight between him and Riongdeaux would be competitive and by far the best fighter he'd have fought.

Everybody but your favorite fighter is a "bum", Dan. Didn't you know that? :lol1:
yeah rigo wants a few pay days b4 he does a fight like that so i understand
Possibly. I'm not sure what their reasoning is. As for me, I'm happy to see Rigo get in a fight or two against good opponents before stepping up to Nonito.

I could see Mathebula pulling out a decision based on activity alone....
Not to mention the advantages Mathebula holds over Rigo

Rigo is scheduled to fight in February. Donaire wants to make his first bout of the new year in March. They'll probably fight sometime after that, but I'd be willing to bet they'll collide in 2013.
