There's nothing concrete to support this as far as I'm aware, just an ongoing discussion/concern that no one publically has heard from him in a year or so.
The last public picture of him was Dec 2011

Apparently someone on his Facebook page claiming to be his niece claimed that Tommy was indeed dying and his wife had cut off all contact between Tommy and his family and would not let any one see him.
Then there's this I found in another site
I received this email from Morrison's former trainer, Tom Virgets... but have been unable to get an update since. This was on July 24th, 2012:
Jonny,
Tommy is in the last stages of HIV/AIDS. He is weighing approximately 150 lbs. He has lost most of his mental faculties ( may or may not remember people from day to day)) and spends most of his days in bed. I am afraid that he will not last more than a month or two. Tommy continues to believe that he does not have aids. He is convinced that this most recent set back in his health is due to a spider bite.
Tom
Don't know how reliable that is.
Of course it's well documented that Tommy stopped taking medication for his illness several years ago as he believes he doesn't have HIV nor that the disease exists at all, which is why his former lawyer stopped representing Tommy (It was around this time Morrison also started making whacky claims that he could teleport and regrow limbs)
Here's a pic from 2008 or so, which you can see lesions on his forearms and his finger starting to rot.

What do you think? Is it all a big conspiracy theory or do you think there's some truth to the matter?

I don't know man but he definitely ain't doing good. I saw some pics online and he looked like 80. It's a real tragedy. Boxing aside, he lost his life. He was a healthy young man at one point. There was lots of happiness and life to be lived aside from boxing. He dealt with his illness by denying it. But he is definitely at the end. I clicked on this because I was sent a YouTube documentary about his life for some reason, like the people close to him know the end is near. I hope he goes peacefully.
It sounds like he is in a nursing home and dying.
What is kind of ****ed is they let him fight again because he said he didnt have HIV and he was able to pass an HIV test. If the drugs work well enough then you may have levels that are low enough they arent detectable. They cant detect HIV in Magic Johnson anymore because hes on AZT, however he knows he still has it and isnt delusional like Tommy Morrison.
Sounds like he knew he would pass in 2007 and 2008 but when they wanted to test him in 2011 he refused, sounds like he knew it was detectable again.
HIV
In February 1996, shortly before a scheduled fight against Arthur Weathers, the Nevada Athletic Commission determined that Morrison had tested positive for HIV. The Commission suspended Morrison from boxing in Nevada. Several days later, Morrison's physician administered a test, which was also positive. At a news conference on February 15, 1996, Morrison said he had contracted HIV because of a "permissive, fast, and reckless lifestyle". Morrison stated that he would "absolutely" never fight again.
At another news conference on September 19, 1996, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Morrison announced he wished to fight "one last time" when he could find an opponent, the proceeds of which would benefit his KnockOut Aids Foundation. A spokesperson for the Oklahoma Professional Boxing Advisory Board said Morrison would probably not be permitted to fight in Oklahoma because of his Nevada suspension.
To treat his infection, Morrison said he took antiretroviral medication, which reduced his viral load to almost undetectable levels.
In 2006, Morrison said his HIV tests had been false positives. The Nevada commission's medical advisory board reviewed Morrison's 1996 test results and concluded they were "ironclad and unequivocal." Morrison said he tried to get a copy of the original test result but was unable to do so: "I don't think it ever existed." The Commission said Morrison could "contact the laboratory, and they would immediately release the results to him."
Beginning in 2007, Morrison began fighting again. After passing medical tests in Arizona, West Virginia licensed Morrison to fight in the state, and in February 2007 he fought and beat John Castle. The Kansas City Star described his early 2009 fight in Wyoming as a "staged" event and a "fake fight."
Morrison tested negative for HIV four times in January 2007. On July 22, 2007, the New York Times reported that Morrison took two HIV tests in 2007 plus a third specifically for the Times. HIV experts reviewed the three tests and concluded that the 1996 result had been a false positive. However, ringside doctors expressed doubt, implying that the negative results were not in fact based on Morrison's blood. The experts agreed that no one is ever cured of HIV.
In January 2011, the RACJ, the boxing commission for Quebec, required that Morrison take a supervised HIV test in advance of a scheduled 2011 fight. Morrison declined to take the test because he said it would be the same kind of test administered by Nevada in 1996. Instead, Morrison invited the Quebec commission to attend a public test, but the commission did not come. Morrison stated that if Quebec refused to license him, he would "take the dog and pony show somewhere else."
If its true its a real shame, I remember watching him when I was a kid, real dangerous puncher if limited. But he always brought excitement, he is (was) only 44 yet the last pic i seen of him, think it was a mugshot, he looks nearer to 70 than 40!
A quick Google shows that this has been being asked since at least 2006, and your most recent picture of him there is dated 5 years after that.
I don't see what anyone has to gain by not announcing his death
Disability payments if you believe some of what you might read. Apparently, in the states, people not declaring relative's deaths in order to remain getting disability benefit is not unheard of. Of course I am not saying this is in fact the case for Morrison. It wasn't a secret that he was very hard up for money (hence why he sold the chance for fans to play Fight Night 4 against him, on his online shop) and other gimmicky items which smacked of financial desperation. I'm just saying that there are financial reasons to conceal a death.

I don't see what anyone has to gain by not announcing his death. Hopefully he's doing the best he can, given his awful circumstances.
