Mares beats Rigondeaux, Donaire probably beats both of them. I'd love to see any combination of those fights though.

He's damn good at cutting off the ring, he can both box and pressure, he's got a vicious body attack, as dirty as it is, and he always seems to have the best gameplan for the opponent in front of him. The man is a very good fighter, one of the best in the sport right now. Mares is a much more complex fighter than what he seems on the surface. It's gonna take Rigo's A+ game to beat him. He can't EVER get relaxed or complacent in there like he did with Ramos and Marroquin.

that is still Top Rank and Golden Boy so no that probably won't happen either... But we will eventually get Mares vs Leo Santa Cruz which I think would be a AWESOME MATCH! Hopefully they don't make that fight TOO SOON before Leo is ready, maybe late 2013 or early 2014 would be best but that is a fight I think will sell out Staples Center in Los Angeles!

I don't see TR and GB making it if they can't come together for Donaire vs Mares, a fight that would be worth more money to everyone involved. I think Mares can do what something similar to what he did to Moreno, a fighter I hold in high regard. But there is reason everyone doesn't line up to fight a guy with only 11 fights. I pick Mares, but I'm not very confident in it.
