It doesn't take that long to make a decision. Him and his team obviously don't know what to do
Lets be honest here, the main fight most people want to see is Martinez, but that's not going to happen. Pacquiao was next, but that fight is completely dead
So... retire. He's 35 going to 36 soon

I agree also. He has done everything there is to do in boxing and he wants to retired undefeated. He is not concerned about fighting the best or fights the fans want to see. He should call it quits.
I'm sorry but am I the only person that really doesn't care to see Martinez vs Mayweather? Floyd would out box him. Sergio or anyone else in boxing history could out box Floyd.
Not by a long shot.
I would agree with you Floyd will be around a long time, way past his sell by date. It may be on and off and certainly not at his current level but he will still be around, I just don't see any way around it for him.
you cant keep Mayweathers d*ck out your mouth? Damn bro...you just came busting out the closet didnt you :AOR:
Bro, you have Floyd's name under your username. You spend more time talking about him than you do your favorite fighter. You're hardly a Pacquiao fan, your just a lonely kid who spends his free time hating on a guy you'll never meet and who makes more money in one fight then you'll make in an entire lifetime.
What will you do when he actually does retire? Will you just find another fighter to hate on? It's looking like Broner will be the next guy for most on NSB.
Never understood the insane hype that surrounds Mayweather.
Sure, he's a GREAT defensive fighter; but he fights once a year (if that) and is too wrapped up with his undefeated record to fight the best in his weight class.
I'd love to see him face Martinez; but it won't happen.
Thats funny in his last fights all he has faced is the yop ranked fighters in his weight class
Cotto-#1 at 154
Ortiz-#2 at ww
Mosley-#1 at ww
Nah, just saying...besides have Pac fans finally come to the conclusion that Mayweather is never gonna lose, so he should retire??? lol
The guy who made this these is not a PAC fan lol.
Hes only 36 and dont fight much, and wants money, so why retire? He isnt fighting for legacy, we all know that.
We cant say he should retire just cos he takes ages cherry picking who he is gonna fight....and dissapointing boxing fans with his choice of opponent mostly.
Thought the thread was " Mayweather should retire"...:AYWOoD:

This coming from the same Pacfans that tried to sell Mosley Vs Pacquiao as a legit fight.....and nevermind they tried to sell Margarito Vs Pacquiao as the best fight that can be made, when Martinez was calling out Pacquiao.

Why should he conform to what you want? He is his own man and should do what he damn well pleases, if he wants to fight once a year that is his choice just like if he wanted to fight 10 times a year.
His health seems fine and his selling power is still at a high level, it would be beyond retarded of him to walk away currently.
i agree. anything other than a martinez fight is pointless legacy wise. he is only fighting carefully selected opponents to replenish his bank account. iv not had much interest in any of his fights for a while now.
No one is calling for a Martinez fight except some unrealistic NSB posters.
Sergio, at his age, shouldn't think of going back down to '54. And Floyd would want a 150 catchweight anyway, which would be dangerous for Martinez to attempt.
Sergio will probably fight Murray, rematch Chavez, and call it a day.
As for Floyd; he shouldn't even be fighting at 154. We saw what happened to Cotto when he fight a top 154lber. They're both welterweights.
And Floyd will be fighting for a long time. Long enough to see him lose to someone mediocre, probably. He spends way to carelessly to be able to retire.
No. He never took damage, to the point a bloody nose is a victory to some, and he still draws and still at top of his game. I personally dont care that he fights once a year cause i think theres alot of young talent out there that wont jump through hoops to announce fight or charge me 70...yet
Somehow I can't imagine Maniac being a fan of Mayweather ever. I often wonder when he started watching and/or how old the guy is with the s**t he spits on here.
That's Funny cuz I could of swore he used to have Floyd on his avatar or some writings on his sig about Floyd.. I guess people just gt tired of the same recycle crap from him. Seeing him playing with his money and arguing with his pops is only funny the first time.
Floyd should not retire. He should fight Pacquiao and KTFO him to show the entire world what a bum he is. Then fight Canelo.
Whens the last time floyd Ktfo anyone? he couldn't even put ortiz out with a sucka punch lol.
If it was up to me.. all of them would be red.
oh i dont doubt that killer. nevertheless, i was being facetious...in the sense you MIGHT be just a taaaaaad oversensitive about all this floyd fan / karma business, no?
