(The Ring) P4P list... Why not Mares?

Mares deserves a mention..... Even though he likes to play with mens nether regions

How can you possibly have Guerrero and Broner on there but not Mares? Did GBP put Guerrero on there just to hype up a fight vs Mayweather? So that they can say Mayweather beat another "top guy"? How does Broner go from not being on the list at all to #5? Makes no sense. Why isn't Mares on this list? He deserves to be on there as well as Guerrero, at this point I don't know if Broner has accomplished enough to be on there specially at #5, and I'm a fan of Broner.

I do think Mares should be there in the top 10. His resume is one of the strongest out there in the sport right now, he's undefeated, and a 2 division champ. I mean if Broner can get to #6 by beating Antonio Demarco (who I am a fan of) then surely Mares should get there by beating Anselmo Moreno who The Ring had in their top 10 anyways. I'm a huge fan of Guerrero but I don't think he belongs in the P4P lists. One more good win at WW and he definetley deserves to be there but not yet. Really though, who takes The Ring seriously anymore? A

Mares is borderline He is a two division champ, but technically he just swept the 118 division. In reality he hasnt fought anyone at 122, as both Morel and Moreno came up in weight. And you're one of those guys who would talk smack about Mares fighting people coming up in weight (like I said in a different thread). FYI the Morel fight was Mares' first fight at 122 and it was at 120, even playing fields for both guys. Moreno was planning on moving up to 122 (I believe it came out of his own mouth if Im not mistaken) now for whatever reason he wants to go back down.

Abner Mares has gotten a pretty solid resume through his recent five fights. Guerrero a 4 division champion? He did beat some strong fighters recently. Aydin was ranked but Berto wasn't. He was dropped cause of his PED scandal and was coming off a layoff as well as an L. Not trying to discredit the win vs Berto cause it was a sweet one IMO not just P4P caliber win...

The ring ratings are a joke. No body cares about the ring ratings anymore of course Mares deserves to be on there. If Moreno would have beat Mares then the ring would have put him on the list. The ring ratings are a joke.

Mares certainly belongs on the list, around the 8th spot, along with Froch and Viloria

man, if ANYONE deserves to be on that list it's definitely Mares. the kid has fought everyone in his division(s) and i'm assured he'll just continue to do so. the kid finds the way to win with skill, a great game plan and a the will that has precluded many mexican warriors before him. i got him with wins against both rig and donaire.

Mares arguably belongs somewhere around 7, let alone on the list. Criminal to see Broner and Guerrero but not Mares, or even Froch.

Because his strategy in the Moreno fight was low blows I counted 20 then stopped counting it was like watching the Adbeko fight all over again. you said rios would be a good test for broner at 140. i think that is laughable at best. but i do agree with you that broner needs to be tested at 140, but a real test, not brandon rios lol I'm slightly baffled as to how you think Rios wouldn't be a good test. He has power, likes to brawl, and has a solid chin. He can take a beating. Broner couldn't come in over weight and bully him. Rios would hurt him. Alvarado would give Broner a tough test. Even Danny Garcia would make Broner look like a prick. Khan would be too quick for him at 140 too. Rios Broner would be a fantastic fight.
