I would like to see him fight somebody ranked...so far he hasn't fought anyone regardless of his KO's.

Its not just his height, he is the total package. Just look at his body also. When was the last time you saw a heavyweight Ripped like that. He is a very hard worker in the gym. Its showing in his fights. Wilder is the future, no doubt about that. Steve Cunningham, David Haye, Wlad Klitchko to name a few. Muscles don't mean much, remember Jeff Lacy? He was quite the physical specimen but proved to wilted under pressure. This guy's chin is suspect, and he's fought absolutely nobody. Yeah he spars with K bros so what. You actually believe he was beating Wlad...lol you must just like muscular blk men if you believe that story. Lets see him beat any top 25 guy then we will talk. :boxing:

I think it's ok for us Americans to be kind of excited about him. But realistically he needs to develop a lot more. I would like to see him keep going at a slow pace and take his time to become well-rounded. Like Andre Ward did before finally being ready. But I have a feeling they are going to rush him from now on, sadly.

Talk about setting him up for a fall. The guy has defeated nobody yet he is supposed to be the saviour of boxing? It's quite hilarious how desperate some Americans are for a heavy weight champion from there country.

The problem with Wilder is that he needs the KO to beat the top HWs. If he can't land, he's in big trouble. Experienced, battle-worn fighters like Povetkin or Adamek would be a nightmare for Wilder, and if Wilder is lucky enough to make it all the way to a title shot against Klitschko, he's going to get murdered.

The thing that will put boxing back at the top will be having an exciting American heavyweight. Boxing hasn't gone nowhere, did you see all the attention that Pac and Marquez got?
