What really pisses me off about Rios is that he doesnt take his craft serious imagine if he had the dedication of Marquez? staying fit all year round..but no he rather be a fatass that thinks hes going to knock out everyone if Abril wasn't a wake up call nothing will be. Id rather see guys stay in shape all year round, but I wouldn't begrudge any fighter that balloons in weight between fights, with how hard they work in training camp and all the sacrifices they have to make, let the guys enjoy themselves on there rest periods! 135 was always going to be difficult for him to make, after Urbano Antillon he had a dietitian in yet that didnt help him much making weight for Murray or Abril!

Funny that you say that, as when you examine Rios, you can see that he's the complete opposite. Completely limited in skill, and talent, but that one attribute that you describe as missing in Ortiz is dialed up to the max in Rios and has made him a (small) star. It is one fight that has to, absolutely has to be made one day. Indeed, and it deserves a 24/7. And I like the Cotto-Ortiz idea, that's a very interesting fight :boxing:

Victor Ortiz' career is actually sad he was destined for greatness he had physical attributes that Mexican fighters would kill for but he was missing one key factor the Mexican fighting heart, that extra gear that a Mexican fighters have when things aren't going their way they can still pull through and get the Victory. :( Funny that you say that, as when you examine Rios, you can see that he's the complete opposite.
